If average predator players had a chance against you, eliminating fireteams would be a piece of cake for you. There would be no reason to be careful in any way.
Balancing is okay, Illfonic.
Simple question for you:
Should it be easier for you if you play quick match as predator?
For me , definitely no. “Balancing” is okay for me.
I really like the increased challenge in comparison to version 1.6. It is nice that you have to play carefully nearly all the time, and yet, only rare premade PC fireteams pose a threat. These fireteams cannot be engaged directly due to their precision fire.
Changing the predator in a way that he had good chances to eliminate such a fireteam would result in too easy matches against other teams as said.
How to get banned from the forums pretty much in a single reply.
man if you struggle to win as fireteam you are just trash, the game was already in large favor of fireteam before specialization perks. Now you can 1 vs 1 the Predator. There is absolutly no balance in this game and the devs are aware too. They have polayed in their stream with 4 Assault class with deadly , so they know is OP and also they killed thje Predator in 1 minute in Derailed.
Tonight I hit a Dutch 87 with 4 fully charged shoulder caster shots in succession, and he still didn’t go down. Two of those were direct hits, the other two were close enough for splash damage…like what the fuck have I got to do at that point? Then I hear “Patching up!” and I’m like 'what a waste of fucking time that was’🙄
…but if you struggle to win as pred, the game is trash.
The hypocrisy is real.
I’ve heard from other players that 4 field medic supports can be close to impossible to kill as well.
Considering the abnormal advantage the fireteam has I could say that at same skill level fireteam will always win. Every Predator player noticed that. It’s way too easy to win as fireteam compared to Predator.
There is bug with Dutch , sometimes if you get direct hitted with plasma you get no damage.
So that gives you the right to call unskilled players “trash”? Come on man, you’re better than that.
This guy didnt even read the patch notes and wrote that on the forum 😂😂😂😂 he didnt know support passive perks. Also every one is aware about the balance issue of this game. Only 2/3 fireteam one trick dont want to give up. The Predator is a joke in this game. No need to explain why.
It’s like some people on Discord always posting screenshots of their wins and bragging about how much damage they do and how they killed a pre-made team, but come here and complain about everything.
Then they wonder why some people leave the lobby. Nobody wants to play against arrogant/salty players.
At same skill level, fireteam is stronger. That’s it. 🤷♂️
Even devs know , they never lost in their stream.
@Weevo540 Did you know this?? “This just gets better by the minute”
Probably isn’t even a bug, more likely intentional to reflect movie accuracy🤣
That makes sense actually. Many times in recent weeks I’ve landed shots I was sure were hits but never saw a hit marker. I thought maybe I was just not seeing it in the moment.😡
Balance in this game is in a weird spot. I can beat almost every single quickplay lobby as scout axe melee only with no perks. I only loose if there is at least one pc player that can aim and isn’t brain dead.
If I was to use my tryhard build I’ll win every quickplay match unless it’s against a good pc premade where making even the slightest of mistakes could cost you the match.
Doesn’t matter of much they buff FT, randoms with no communication is always going to loose to a good predator. And even if they use ingame voice, that will just give pred more info than it will give the fireteam.
I also win almost every fireteam match solo queue. Every match always ends with me dealing 3k+ dmg and the rest zero. This is because I always try to hunt down and 1v1 the predator. If I didn’t do this I’d win even more.
And yea, good pc premades are close to impossible to kill. Especially if they are using medic. You as the predator rely on them to make multiple big mistakes that you can take advantage of. If they don’t make any mistakes, you can’t do anything. Even if you down them with range, they’ll get picked up with full hp in literally a second.
The only thing the specializations achieved was to make premades even stronger. Zero difference in quickplay, except that if they run medic you can get more stealth kills easier.
wise words my friend
I’ve only lost 2 games as pred all day, git good people
FNG’s, it’s not like we have a lot of rule’s to follow.
On topic; Balance isn’t that bad right now. Pred’s need a bit more diversity in their builds with Specs. I think maybe 3 FT Specs need to be toned down and a couple of the guns hit to hard but other than that things aren’t to bad.
