The sound is all directional OP. No one’s using software you just need to stop playing with your $10 earbuds, disable ingame music & turn off your hotmic spotify if you can’t track the predator with your eyes closed.

You sound like the type to crouch walk around. Never consider yourself “invisible.” You bleed, the bush your standing on will constantly move around, people see you land and pretend they don’t and then tag you with 4 headshots. There are only so many angles the pred can attack from and you’ve seen them all after putting a couple hundred hours into this game, you can just prefire in the direction of the clicking. Kind of like pre-emptively wallbanging all the boxes and common angles in CS or Valorant.

Try an actual set of good headphones and see how braindead easy it is to find the pred. Babies first sweaty shooter.

If they would simply fix the camera so that the Predator’s body doesn’t get in the way of aiming there would be a lot of new angles of attack

Or if we could toggle into first person as Pred maybe in thermal vision

My headset aint very expensive, never had a problem tracking the Pred via just sound.

I’ve tracked DCed Preds from across the map with just sound, it’s not hard. The amount of noise a Pred does gives them away instantly if you are using a headset.

So you are basically assuming that other players use this specific sort of a cheat because they find you.

Do you know that it’s pretty easy to get a sense of where the Predator is if you are using headphones?
I mean, literally, it is so stupidly easy, you even get visual feedback from the tree he is walking on.
Why would you need a hack for something a halfway developed brain already does for you?

And most importantly:
Why don’t you just adjust your playstyle and tactics?
Use some Audio Decoys if people keep finding you.
I mean, if people would be using such stuff, you would mess them up completely by doing that.

Audio Decoys would be slightly more useful if they projected sound in various directions and had Pred footsteps in them as well.
In fact, clicks, footsteps and vision mode are the ones most likely to give a Pred away.

They added new sounds to it with this recent patch that makes it way more useful. Not shitting over your idea but I personally think it’s in a good spot right now.
