Ban for Sound Tracking soft

I have repeatedly encountered bastards who always know exactly where I am when I’m (as Pred) quite far from them and do not move, which makes me completely invisible. So how they do it? They use third-party applications for tracking the sound. Like Nahimic for example. That Sound Tracker is a visual indicator that points out the directions from which predominant sounds are coming. Each sound is properly positioned in 360° on a radar for a full immersion during the game. For the game like PHG it’s definitely a cheat.

So, if PHG anti cheat system is not considered this apps as a cheat, it should.

Idk but we destroyed a guy with Amiba in his name and he accused us of cheating so I don’t know 🤷🏽‍♂️

This is something that a few pred mains don’t understand. It’s quite easy to track the pred by sound when you use a surround sound headset. I’ve been accused of cheating so many times because I even know in which branch he is standing. Also when the pred scans in infrared you can see the eyes glowing from across the map and when the do target isolation this noticeable red glow appears.

It’s not a software that allows us to track sound, it’s actually hardware.

So, it’s not cheating, just really good headset.

My post refers only to players that using audio tracking SOFTWARE that can be considering as a cheat.

I haven’t even mentioned your nickname, why you think this post somehow connected to you?

Not to be that guy but do you have proof of this happening because I use a decent headset and can pretty much find the pred pretty easily without any visual indicator.

Um, its not that hard when you’re on a PC. Surroundsound and the ability to use a mouse quickly is all you need.

I just use a good headset, although my previous one was better. I agree using third party software is cheating but not headsets, I believe modern games are meant to be played with surround sound.

well to be blunt you literally can’t

as the game provides methods to track a predator from great distances from sounds that they make since you can always lower the volume of music/voices to minimum so your only hearing effects with surround sound.

if the predator is standing on/in a bush/tall grass it bends/shakes left or right making a rustling sound so you know where he is
if the predator is standing on a branch it bends low and creaks so you know which one he is in
if he uses vision his eyes flash and make a distinct sound same with cloak but it’s a full body flash target iso also has a red flash and distinct noise you can also hear a predator charge the bow or plasma canon

predator only knows how to stomp his feet so you can always hear him coming from over 50m away unless he is literally crouch walking around the map LOL even then you can hear that from like 20m away

you honestly don’t have to try that hard to see/find the predator you just need good ears/eyes and the rest is up to your aim

of course obv you should ban such software but i can almost guarantee you didn’t encounter any cheaters i’ve played with/against some of the best players this game has to offer and they make it very clear you as the predator don’t get to decide when you engage

That kinda soft (Nahimic sound tracker) was banned in PUBG from 2018 for example.
