Keyboard dosent seem to hard for ft but the pred it seems like it would hinder them. It has to be the reason why all the yt that play this game on pc just leap instead of walking or running

As an avid Bear Trap user, I didnāt take @Thunder-Cats post personally - I get why he and others might not like them. There are things in the FT arsenal that I hate, but I understand why they use them.
As I mentioned above, to me the FT have all kinds of weaponry advantages - the main being instant hit automatic weapons - and itās because Predās donāt have such weapons (and in some cases the weapons we have are buggy as shit - yes, Iām looking at you Bow!) that traps can be an effective means of leveling the playing field.
Yeah, a good premade squad will seldom be caught out by a Pred using traps, but the majority of people I face tend to be randoms (who can still be good/deadly, but not necessarily as co-ordinated or observant).
Of course, the other reason I use traps is simply because itās fun and exactly the kind of thing a Pred would use. Itās especially amusing when the FT happens to be on open mic screaming obscenities after getting caught in one.

Meh. There is a yt that purposely uses ridiculous controllers to play rainbow. He player and won a ranked match in rainbow using a guitarhero controller. So skill>hardware wins every time.

Did I say that hardware is more important? I said, that in comparison mouse and keyboard are much more impactful that the joystick.

I just am not a fan of them tbh, they hinder your movement as pred, theyāre loud as hell, easily destructible, only shine with fast hands otherwise a good FT will get out quick, take up 5 gear points, very limited. Whenever Iām playing with our squad and get trapped or netted I always say okay now what because as soon as I get trapped the pred gets melted soon after.
