Probably my favorite thing about taxation is when you buy used goods and pay taxes on them. Or when you inherit a property and have to pay capital gain taxes on it, even if you don’t sell it… on top of the annual property taxes and on top of the taxes you would need to pay from the income you get if you sell it…
