It was stated in patch notes that the estimated wait time would be more accurate. It says 4:43, then 5:52, and it keeps changing. But the amount of time I’ve waited is WAY over that estimate.

If you are in an empty game lobby then leave and make a new search.
I just got into a full lobby after I posted. Doesn’t change the fact I waited so long with the estimated time being wrong by such a huge amount.
Am once again at the 11 minute mark with the estimated wait being nowhere close to accurate.
Edit: Just got a lobby with no FireTeam. What even is the fucking point anymore.
Edit Number 2: Welp, I’m fucking done. I guess 1 match a day will be the norm for this game. Call me when everything is better or if everything has gone down the toilet.
and to think i opened the epic launcher to play or hope to find a game. i read this nope im put off. well back to watching thor ragnarok i suppose … smh just a sigh that is all.
Hello mate. If you are waiting for longer than you should, cancel the search immediately and start a new one. The matchmaking has a bug that places you in the last waiting position in line, sometimes it overwrites the bug, rarely, but it’s not worth the chance. Just cancel after some time and begin a new search.
For example: as a FT it usually take for me like 20-30 sec (and it says estimate wait time 32 secs) to find a full lobby. If the timer goes past 1:30 I cancel the search because the bug is affecting the matchmaking. I begin a new search and in 30 sec max I’m in a match.
As for the Predator, if the estimate waiting time (ewt for easier spelling as acronym) says 4:42, and your timer is at 6:00, just cancel and search again. Don’t waste your time on a bug.

ya the estimate it not accurate all the time. alot of the time it is pretty close but sometimes actual placing time is double what the estimate says.
