Yea it could be, if it is it’s odd they didn’t detail that in the patch notes. But whatever it looks good. Can’t wait to use it.
Most certainly, skilled Predators are very few due to the pool being so large. And I agree, the Predator needs more buffs as they’ve been getting completely stomped by Fireteams. Playing with randoms, I’m currently on a 19-game win streak and the only losses I suffer are from matches where my team is bad and the Predator is good. A good team will always destroy a good Predator and that’s the definition of unbalanced.

The good players know how to do it and that’s who I’m referring to finally winning games because even good Predators get destroyed by good Fireteams.
I’ve figured it out. It’s still not guaranteed so when you don’t get it and get the intended “stand there like a lemon” animation the damage you take is stupid. Getting the odd double smash for an instant down helps to even the odds (still FT favoured) but good luck with all the salt from the FT.

Just had a game, with the above mentioned setup.
Don’t know what they did, I didn’t read anything in the patch notes about a Berserker buff but… man… the thing is an absolute beast now. Hits hard and his health bar never drops…
Not sure what your talking about cause im finding the ft is spotting me way more accurately now like i cant even get within 200 feet of them and theyre spotting me then dutch just spams that new weapon… and if i do get the chance to be face to face with them with the elder sword , and the melee perk they still rip me a new asshole… But then again its still matching me up against ft members wayyyy above my level … if they fix that it might be more even… but when i see thermal grenades being thrown i know im up against someone at least level 62 and im like 43…
Yeah, with the patch dropping all the try-hard teams are back to check it out so that means really bad news for Predators. Instead of facing randoms and a more even match, you’re getting elite players who make it their job to melt Predators 100% of the time and make no mistake, they absolutely will melt you 100% of the time.
i mean i’m going to be honest i’m not sure why they increased the dmg of the sword
it was already the best pure melee weapon in the game from dmg numbers the club was what needed the pure dmg buff and they made the tracking better and range it actually doesn’t make sense why they made the dmg better
Give the Predator every buff they can get because they need it. As I’ve said previously, once people figure out the elder sword is good, especially after this patch, everybody is going to be running it and seeing success.

Ugh…yeah…combistick required skill to throw.
Throwing the stick is a secondary function not utilized at lower level play, the sword is far more difficult to master due to its small hotbox.

I agree with you on the Elder Blade @Saiano. I swear by the Combi-Stick but decided why not, Queues are super efficient. Lemme explore.
And goddamn is the Jason’s Machette cleverly shaped like a Yautja Machette really dammed good. Like, I just three tapped someone!? good. The third tap is really good as it tracks like a Magnet.
On the other hand, I was first miffed that they upped the Cost of Fearless. I ran that along with Impenetrable and Large Pouch. Now I run Modified Reserves and really don’t miss Fearless (even without the Elder Machette). But I’m also being open to seeing what works best.
That’s what’s great about today’s Update: I find myself exploring options to help improve my Hunt. It’s great.
