Why play the Hunter? When you can play the Berserker who is just a little bit slower, and has a little less stamina, but is certainly stronger, can tank more damage, and can also carry more gear, and also play distance style as good as the Hunter (or even better since access to more gear), plus a much better close style than the Hunter. Berserker is way more versatile than the Hunter right now, and that’s just bad balancing. It’s supposed to be the other way around. Berserker should only be about close combat. Nothing more, nothing less. Really hope Illfonic addresses this.

While I agree zerk is better cause health I main hunter cause i ain’t no bitch tho. Nah man honestly i just prefer hunter. Scout would be cool if plasma cannon was stronger. And by that I mean a slight increase in charged splash damage.

I also main Hunter. But when I pick zerk and play him as I play Hunter, it’s much easier. Another thing they screwed up with the latest 1.06 update was both the Scout, and Hunter’s melee combat capabilities, by nerfing the combi stick for all three classes, when it was the damn Berserker that was OP with it, not the other two. They should’ve nerfed it only for when zerk used it.

Berzerker is good at being agressive mid and close range. Hunter is the best stalker/assassin because of his better energy management.

I made a thread and someone actually posted a link to a spreadsheet with all the damage values. Combi has the lowest damage believe it or not. It’s just the tracking is really good on it.
It’s supposed to be that way, but it isn’t. I can play a stalker/assassin just fine with zerk.

Berzerker can not stay in cloak forever, hunter can. All preds have a cloak, but zerk can only use it a short time. He is the agressive class.

Just a clarification I meant single hit damage.
I know he is the aggressive class. But he can be played just like the Hunter and still be successful. Even more so since he can have more gear with him. And the energy consumption can be negated with the right perks.

Hunter is better than Berserker. I play only hunter with bow amd combi stick, almost 20 Win in a row. Berserker is easy to play (braindead if you rush netngun + combi) but it works only aginst bad fire team without knowledge of the game and proper aim. If you master the Hunter you can adapt your gamestyle to any situation. Maybe it’s easier for pc player but these are facts.

Yeah no prob. I was curious cause ppl keep bitching bout combi but it’s not even the hardest hitter. It just has good tracking. Imagine if the other weps did? Lol the melee ones.
Combi is good because deal aoe damage but you need a lot of hit to kill a support for example. This will bring some clarity finally
I wish I could agree, but a Berserker when played by a good player who also knows how to play the Hunter, always gets better results with the Berserker at the moment. The berserker definitely needs rework because he is too versatile right now.
