Better more instructive tutorial for Predator.

Last 4 games in a row have ended with the Predator charging in, getting 1 down, maybe a claim, and getting ended by the fireteam. We need a better tutorial for the Predator so these players can understand how this game works.

I’ve won 96% of my games regardless of which side I’m on.

We need a tutorial so we can start to have a better idea of what actually needs balanced. Players who charge into the middle of a team of 4 thinking that’s gonna work, then coming to the forum complaining the Pred is too weak shouldn’t be taken seriously.

I’m not saying there aren’t still balance changes and tweaks to be made. Just that I still keep seeing really dumb gameplay on both sides, and a better tutorial that maybe literally tells players “You’re not a god. You can be killed.” Might be helpful.

It would be great if it would explain and have you play through examples of the different aspects of the Predator.
Like I had no idea how to do the Self-Destruct function until after playing a few matches, same with the Target Isolation.
It would also be good if it gave hints or something about how to counter certain abilities like the Fireteam’s Reinforcements.

i do agree the tutorial is uh “unsatisfactory” that’s probably the nicest word i’d use to describe it
albeit from what i remember 2 of the default loadouts aren’t bad either
though teaching players some of the more obscure mechanics and telling them what to do about them? that would be something i’d like to see like can you imagine if in the tutorial and you melee one of the “armored” militia and they parry you which causes one of those popups that pauses the game and tells you about it?
god that would be nice.
