So my whole thing with this is that there’s an old wife’s tale that i heard as a keed that cats always land in their feet when dropped. Somehow they rotate in the air to do so. They can probably walk away without harm by being dropped from a three story building, or higher, cause the can absorb the impact. Never googled it, but that’s what I’ve believed so far.
That is kind of untrue. It is semi-true. The cat needs an appropriate amount of airtime to be able to correct itself and land on its feet. Furthermore, a drop from atop a 3 story building WILL injure and possibly kill the cat. Gravity is the same bastard he’s always been and no one is immune to him…except ghosts.

Ok, so it is an old wife’s tale. I think I’ve head of occurance where cats would survive an even higher fall and walk away in the moment, but i guess it’s possible that it could have internal bleeding or organ contusion, even if bones, muscles and ligaments seem ok.
OOORRRRR… the cats legs would be liquefied after a 3 story fall from a building onto a sidewalk, which is where most 3 story buildings cats could fall from reside. Now, like a 10 ft fall, sure, the cat might be fine, maybe walk off a small limp. But even a launch down a full flight of stairs broke a cats rear leg. I witnessed it as a small boy and MAY have been definitely responsible because I didn’t know animals could be hurt at that age.
