Great match and great balancing between FT and Predator.
HOWEVER, Boars!!? WTF
This is ridiculous!!! How has this not been fixed yet? Literally ZERO boars spawn the entirety of a good match between a FT. I’m not using large pouch so I only have two health kits.
My health is literally down to the brink of second wind but I can no longer engage the FT because of this crap!!
This has been an issue from day one and this is patch 2.03? This is sad people… sad.
It’s either that, or theres a whole buffet.
It just needs consistency.
I have playtested a ton and found the boars dont spawn in after the exfil phase begins, after the mission is done.
If you aren’t within the path towards exfil or the proximity of the boars, they get beamed up (joke, just get removed from the map).
I usually hunt ft by destroying health/ammo crates/hunting about 5ish boars before engaging. Sometimes you don’t get this luxury and one will do. Boars usually go to their downed homies so if you kill one, more will most likely be there.
This being said.
If they didn’t spawn at all during the entire game, thats a problem.
Boars need to be spread out more. You shouldn’t find more that 2/3 in any given location
It has been a problem…
Over the months of playing we have discovered that boars spawn based on where the fire team are/has been. Yes there are random throw-ins throughout the map sometimes but there were literally zero this match (and like times before). I used target isolation throughout multiple points throughout the map and I even followed the fire team to see if boars would spawn near them. Zilch.
I think medic/large pouch is the new meta

So sad when you run that target isolation and there’s no GODDAMN PORKCHOPS
If I were a dev the last ones I’d look at are op’s that are titled in all caps with all those exclamations like your preparing to scream about something just saying I dont think it helps your cause
@j2ezg50 made a video recently that explained how Boar Spawns worked in this game, and how to make them spawn. I’d recommend checking it out, applying the method in the video, and seeing if that makes a difference.
Boars despawning should be addressed, because that makes no sense.
Someone mentioned Boars not spawning after exfil has been triggered? On Backwater, when the FT are exfilling at Fishing Village (west side of map, below Pump House infil) I’ve seen boars after exfil has been popped. Problem is they get spooked by AI spawning and often run off towards the top of the map or out of bounds.

Just curious, have you been experiencing any game freezes during matches? You’re on PS4 as well, and it seems to be affecting us more than PC.
Not particularly what do you mean by freezes?
It’s happening to quite a few of us, just like it is above. There’s other vids of it on Bug Reports.
Yea i technically call that a blue screen because when you close the app it’ll take a second then give you the blue screen error report
don’t get it a lot but it happens on occasion
if you aint running impatient and large pouch… your doing it wrong. The other perks are slight dmg increases or energy saves. Downrange, fearless, maybe bio mask… but 10 percent of bullets is not all that great.
Only good shooters are gonna give problems. when there is 4 of them with snipers you take 4 shots and your almost second winded. I think class specific weapons would do the game wonders.
I have found that target iso has a limited range foe boars. I was once in backwater In the stargazer camp and target iso and started to run towards the fishing village and boars gold icon popped up when I got closer to the middle of the map. Idk may just have been just me but maybe idk man its super annoying
You could be right about limited range, I’ve had the same experience. Also, if they’re tucked behind certain scenery/environment it can block the bubble from showing.
