The amount of boars available to the Predator to give them full health at any point is quite comparable to the previous amount of health items available to Fireteams before Patch 1.06. And it has yielded much of the same result. Speaking as someone that plays a Predator I feel absolutely no pressure and free to engage as recklessly as I please often regardless of whether a Fireteam is good or not. If I get injured there is usually three to four boats nearby tomorrow full heals for me to just keep slamming myself at them over and over again until they crack. And the result has largely been that Predators just run up and constantly spam shots and soak a hefty chunk of bullets with no significant consequences. They basically have turned a unique character type into a standard point and click shooter in all frankness. Combined with the fact that no Fireteam, regardless of skill, has any chance of catching up to any skilled Predator when wounded to seize upon then before they can heal via boars or medkit. All they did is shift the balance of power in this regard entirely to the other without any counterweight and in such a way that undermines a huge part of the game and that is strategy.
Boars need to be dealt with
Makes sense you feel no pressure as the pred if you don’t play against a fireteam that actually covers boars.
Once you run into an FT that covers boars, they become power role.
The fireteam isn’t supposed to be catching up to the pred, weird complaint. They’re supposed to either force a disengagement, put the pred in second wind, or complete the objective.
If the FT forces a disengage, they heal while the pred heals. It takes one person to do an objective.
It’s not about the AMOUNT of boars its about the distance. If the predator has to flee to another compound to heal because you have the boars at your compound covered, that’s a free objective for you. Ft is half done with the mission in the time it takes to heal off of a pig outside of fireteam vicinity.

That is a fair take however even spread out evenly they would still offer a substantial advantage and given you can clear the map in about 15 seconds that is hardly a significant amount of time wasted.

They also have a nasty habit of running when startled and that isn’t even true anyways. They can often spawn separate and in obscure bunches in the wilderness. So wait. You expect the Fireteam to complete their mission, physically guard each boar that could easily be scared off and fight off the Predator at the same time? All while not entering any buildings for potential said objectives. Want them to shoot lasers from their eyes and cure cancer too?
About to blow your mind again. Yes you can cover boars. They spawn like four in the same spots at compounds. Within view of the fireteam. Right on top of eachother. So you know exactly where the pred is going already.

If you genuinely have no capacity to even think about the ramifications and the ridiculous And unreasonable burden that is to expect omniscience of every boars movements on the map post spawn then there simply isn’t a worthwhile discussion to be had

The pigs aren’t omniscient they walk in the same circles right next to where they spawn. If they’re that crazy unpredictable for you dude you can just shoot them. Then shoot the pred while he’s eating infront of your entire FT right outside the objective.

Waah you have to play aggressively if the predator is disengaging before second wind and you want to kill him, which is what you’re obviously trying to do complaining about not being able to catch up to him lolol.

I think totally random actually but with some spawning logic to prevent them from being in one place or a certain range of each other. Or if they have this as is then give Fireteam the ability to kill and cover them in mud so they are largely invisible and do not appear on the map.
I wouldn’t mind a 0-3 boat limit though.
WHAT!? are you high?!? the fire team has like, ok how about this doing worst case here ok like this isnt as worse as it could get, if every one brings a med kit ( witch they normaly do) thats 6 FULL HEALS
per person so 24 heals plus 18 because if they die and come back they get a refund on their healing items so thats 42 full heals the predator gets 3 heals form his med kit and now you wanna say he has OVER 39 in bore count? what? show me a video of 39 bores runing around in one map in one game i would love to see this
What OP meant to say was he wants to be able to stop the power role from healing without having to learn the map and aggressively play around pigs because this is “excuses.” Instead trying to limit the pred to ~3 heals per game because he can’t reliably down it otherwise.
