Bomb disarming

And give the predator a perk so he can rip out spines? Guess not.

And there are still people botching the disarm and go up in fiery blaze, so no, it should not be tied to a perk.

I also agree, or mabye they should make it harder because it is super easy

In the very first movie Dutch saw it and figured what it is within seconds, giving him enough time to escape. The Fire Time may or may not have any background knowledge about the potential alien threat, but even then they figure it’s a self-destruct mechanism, a bomb. They know what it most likely is, but since they have no obvious time limit or the blast range, they can just as well stay behind and try to do their best to disarm it. From the gameplay perspective it’s a cool mechanic that allows you to keep the game from ending early and earn some extra cash ;)

Maybe all the members of FT have autism? You know, like in that one movie we’d all like to forget.

Seriously though I am not against changing the disarming mechanic. Some have suggested causing the bomb to detonate if you screw up at all. That might be a bit harsh but i definitely think that creates more tension for FT members when approaching this.

asymetrical game play. Pred cant win 100% of the time. Its a competition, your self destruct is a last ditch effort to keep tech out of their hands (extra points). they are trying to make a game that you will want to play over and over if there is not a challenge and no real “win” for the fire team then there will be no reason to play dont you think? disarming the bomb also allows you to possibly get the kill after you died as predator so please dont complain about a core mechanic that honestly works.

KEEP PLAYING

You’re an Einstein man pun intended but obviously failed at it

Who says I am not an intergalactic technician when something like a Predator exists?

I personally disagree here is why.

If Predator gets downed this leads to two options, die or activate his bomb. If Predator just dies this is the ultimate failure for him, he's compelled to activate the bomb for honor's sake. This gives FT some room to really show how amazing they can be! If a FT squad is really a good team, then disarming the bomb is the ultimate achievement and disarming should be hard enough to show this. I've noticed now that i've gotten into the middle levels (currently 61) disarming is happening more often. Imagine a game where FT downs a Predator super early due to a misstep on Predators part generally due to over aggression. If you play the predator in a manner that leave yourself open to the chance of disarm then you should be "punished" for that decision. I personally think that it could be harder, but should not be removed from the game. A lot of Predator players will go after the team at the extraction location because they have no place else to go, this is their last chance to get the win. I think that a fun change could be made like if the extraction chopper is in the Predator's blast radius there should be a helicopter in the short cutscene showing the aftermath. Resulting in a small amount of experience for the Predator player. But to make the game liniar in the post downed predator situation makes the ending seem empty in my opinion.

i realy think they should add more number the longer the predator had time to arm the bomb
