If they scrapped the entirety of the game all together and followed the exact same path Aliens did with their game, it would do better in months than the entirety of the games existence.

the pred franchise seems to constantly get the shit end of the stick, huh? We get a ton of nice toys, and cool 4K Ultra releases of the first two movies (the only ones that matter…ok, maybe Predators), but when it comes to video games, a market you would think Predator would be perfect in…it fails. Hard. Meanwhile Alien is getting all the glory and recognition.

Agreed. I don’t know how long Illfonic has the license, but I hope either Coldiron or somebody as competent grabs it, makes it the anti-PHG. That would be so cool if they got both licenses and made a new AvP game.

Cold Iron already has amazing animations and models for the Xenos.
I don’t expect anything from bots, if it’s anything like the AI Mercs then yeah hard pass.
I mean, we are in a world where if we don’t give little companies chances, they will never grow.
I’d love to see Coldiron tackle avp due to how substantial of a product they have created with such a small team.
They have the drive and want to perform.

Between the two I would not trust a cold iron AVP. They can’t even get matchmaking to work with bots so I sincerely doubt they could handle matchmaking for 3 species.
The game literally has come out, and they’re already on top of bugs etc. More than what we are currently getting out of Illfonic.

The frame rate dropping like a brick and being unable to complete the game due to bugs still doesn’t make a good first impression. They also have only proved they can do a 3rd person shooter but the a.I is brain dead and spawns in front of the player. Sure they do here but we’re supposed to have another player be the main focus. The shit a.I isn’t the whole package.
A.i tactics in FTE is literally just H O R D E. Even if cold iron solved all its bugs they only know how to throw bullet sponges at the player.
