Fireteam if hit should limp so teamates cant just run to another mission. And bow damage headshots need to be 1.5xcritical dmg or double . As of right now plasma caster is superior. Or add perk u lose ur mask easier but arrow dmg is increased.
Bow damage headshots should be a double monifier
Plasma is superior because it takes energy. That said, a full charge bow headshot should be a down.
We agree the dmg on bows needs increased for head shots… maybe a longer slow duration. Or takes fire team stamina away. I wish there aim got shitty when hit.
I think draw duration is fine. Any longer and you run serious risk of sniper headshots.
I personally only used the bow once, but I imagine it is like the plasma caster where you cannot hold a full charge shot. I would love to see that changed.
The dmg is like 70 on body and 98 on headshot. Plasma is 53 per single tap full charge is 125 without perks

53/122 for bow
So I like the bow on my Scout where I keep my distance on purpose.
Major things I think need looked at, hit detection first, maybe server / laggy players are the cause, but I feel like it hits and misses inconsistently
Second - it’s drop off/fall rate. Take the satellite camp for example, from the top of the tree branch on the bordering sidd to the middle of the camp, a high charged/especially a fully charged shot should not fall/gravity effect that range. Further out sure, balance but a high strung shot should not fall that quick.
Third, the shake/tension on the bow at full charge and Auto Release. Plasma caster i understand, its super powerful and unbalanced to hold it like that and it has AoE/splash. But the bow doesn’t and can miss, easily.
If its going to have that tension shake, I shouldn’t have auto release. We know the risk and have to fight that noise and shake (awesome sound though) but making me shoot and arrow because I wanna risk an angle at full pull on a peaker isn’t fair.
If auto release has to stay then give a mini meter to warn us before we shoot and blow our cover. And the tension shake also has to go if that auto release stays.
The arrow says it slows prey, does that mean Fireteam? Never been hit by one.
I think a perk (medium/high cost) that makes arrows track or mark prey unless they removed it would be interesting.
A poison/bleed damage overtime perk for high strung arrows could be cool for it but Im not sure about that one fully. Feels like jumping the gun on ability.

Idk about damage, but I think for firts need nerf walk&run speed TF. Cuz very hard to shot from bow&plasma in running TF.
Thats why onebutton Berserks better, then Scout. Don’t need try to aim. Just mouse clicking like a slasher.
I think what the devs should do is instead of increasing damage, just make the arrow maim the target. The arrow should be lodged in the person and only by holding a button can they pull it out and heal. Kinda like how to get out the bear traps. Slowly but surely, the target will bleed out, so it’ll give FT more incentive to stop and pull it out sooner. Thus, giving predator more time to plan, ambush, etc… That way the bow is more viable a weapon, and players get an easier shot since the target has movement penalty. I really like the bow and mechanics of it after playing with it. They can keep it how it is now just add the maim. It would be really cool and would make sense imo. If not that, then at least like a five sec movement penalty or something. The bow should be buffed.
Headshots against predator need increasement too
Headshots seem fine to me. If you increase damage against their mask, everyone would just run around with the mask perk.
Personally, it would be nice if m203s did more than deafen the Predator, as far as non-damaging properties go. The fact that they can charge toward you and not get staggered by taking a near direct hit is pretty stupid. This is why everyone just runs around with their knives half the time.
Plasma caster has a laser giveaway and an energy limit.
The bow slows fireteam players upon getting a hit, the plasma caster does not.
If anything, they should revert the energy used by the plasma caster, so it can’t be used so often.
Yes with Downrange you should down most scouts with a H/Shot if not quite on full health and non perk.
