Bow Hit registration

Been hitting people in various parts of the body and not getting a hit marker nor doing damage. The sound of the arrow striking flesh is clearly heard but no damage is done. It’s too inconsistent to replicate, so it’ll be a little while before I can make a video of it happening. As bow users, you know what I’m talking about, it’s happened at least once to each of my fellow archers

Either you or someone else in the match must be lagging, maybe.

For some of those shots at least the rest is probably bad hitboxes.

That’s what I thought as well. Not sure tho. Usually when I run with my homies in privates, I hit my shots. I run against pubs tho, and some shots fly right into their gut or footsies and don’t do squat. I’m sure you can imagine how frustrated I get when some shitter calls me bad or I can’t hit my shots when they fly right through them.

Yeah, and the opposite is true too

Those shots don’t look like there hitting you on your end, but on someone else’s end they are.

I would indeed say the hotboxes do need some work. Hell of a lot better than they were though

Smart disk really needs a rework form the ground up

Quick fix right here. Hold fire button to throw and pilot, tap to dumb throw. Disc ricochets off surfaces until returned to the sender. Piloted throw is unchanged.

Kinda like in AVP 2010. No one bitched, everyone knew how to counter it

I can agree. I’m an archer as well and sometimes it feels like the arrows are not hitting despite me seeing them stuck in the FT’s body.

Hotboxes are great , they give you a buzz and done waste any smoke 👍🏻

Almost in every match I’m getting this bug. BTW, the same thing happens to combistick sometimes.

I’ve seen that too. Although much more rare since throwing combis happens maybe half a dozen times in a match
