BOW is just too good with Scout's mobility

Hey guys I wanted to share this 6 min compilation of some of my best Scout class moments while using the bow. The footage was captured from about 15 private and public matches

The perks that I used in this video are:

  • Adrenal Rush - Imo a necessary perk for Scout, if not for all classes - the mobility and almost never ending stamina is insanely usefull. It helps out to close the distance between Predator and FT on round’s start very quick, aswel as run off from FT when needed. It also helps a ton while in second wind to flee away from chasing FT members.
  • Impenetrable - This one is 50/50. I started using it not long ago but It’s been doing well for me so far. It really helps me out with my Hit n Run playstyle. Since I love to harass FT by constantly jumping in with the slam / shooting arrows from all the angles while running around in high speed etc.
  • Down Range - for obvious reasons.

i hear down range does not change bow damage.
not tested it myself

increases dmg by 12-15 depending on ranged weapon, fearless is 3 dmg buff

Bow on PC seems OK, depends how much fireteam move around and if the shots decide to go on the crosshair or just somewhere randomly off aim.

Bow on console is really hard to aim.

It increases it by 10%. But before patch 1.06 Down Range was bugged and didn’t worked with Arrows / Disc and thrown Spear. Now it works.

Gotta agree but you can still get very good with it - there’s this Dude Cartoonz who’s really good with the controller and the bow. There are some other controller users who are good with it.

The bow gameplay feels very similar to that one of The Last of Us: FACTIONS MP if you ever played it.

ye, range perk buffs a lot better then melee perk by a large margin

Haha yeah dude I was laughing my ass off at that part xD Infact before that I let the last remaining guy get the reinforcements for the match to be longer and then this happened right after. Once it ended one of the FT dudes started blaming his teammates with curses n sh*t xD I have full of video of that, it’s kinda hilarious.

It’s rare but happens. On the match start I usually tell them “Have fun guys” and “GGs” after. If they tend to talk - they usually respond every time.

Did they end up fixing Downrange? It was originally tested and did not provide more damage as it stated. Regardless, I am fairly certain it does not affect the Plasma Turret.
