First time using it on the level with caves and it was awesome!

Using the Yautja bow is reasonable in very specific situations like downed fireteam members or nearly static close quarter combat (like in the caves or buildings) but the plasma caster is currently superior in nearly all situations as long as you have energy:
More damage, area of effect, straight aiming, faster projectile.
In contrast to version 1.6, the hand-held plasma caster has become inferior to the Yautja bow, though, due to the low damage per time.
Yes but it was only effective when A.I were spawning everywhere while FT was trying to complete a objective at a camp that I started downing them lol
