Getting tired of everyone’s thoughts or concerns being shut down or not given the time of day even id they are very valid. Bug fix going un patched by devs with clear proof by a lot of people in this forum have provided . Fix you game or don’t even release it or add dlc till it get addressed or fixed. Was a massive fan of destiny and since the 2nd came out it gone noting but down hill and not improved .i just don’t want another game that could have been great not to go to shit because of greed.
Boycott any game after this one if illfonic doesn't fix shit
You should try searching for a topic about someone saying not to buy DLC until they fix things… Then how many people said they don’t care about the state of the game and they will still keep buying those reskinned predators.
Even now and this game feels like a beta product. 3 maps that feel extremely similar and 1 game mode. Gun play mediocre at best. Horrible AI that spawn 2 meters from you and can see you when even the predator can’t. TON of bugs, this week alone got stuck in objects 2 times having to kill myself. No select knife button for FT, predators claiming people when they want to melee and a lot more. No idea why people keep giving them money until they fix the game and give some more content (free one). Like 3 maps at the very least.

Its not the same thing, you waste to much time with that. You need to select knife pronto and start doing heavy attacks or you’re screwed, like literally if he has a spear :)
I’m assuming, you mean heavy attacks for the purpose of parrying…light attacks also parry. Maybe not for as long a window, but long enough that an experienced player can parry consistently with it. And pulling the knife out by holding melee is quick enough.
Trust me, its not quick enough for when the predator is one you smashing you in melee.
Pulling out the knife in that way also does a light attack that is not as efficient at parry as the heavy attacks. Heavy attacks have more parry frames then the light attacks. Its already really hard to parry as it is unless you’re running a premade team where other people can cover you.
I trust what I’ve seen and done. I have literally forced dozens upon dozens of predators back and made it to where they would only engage at range after that with this method.
What you are asking for would be way less efficient as you want a way to just switch to knife, which animation wise means putting away your guns and pulling out your knife. In that amount of time I’ve already thrown the knife light and stacked it’s parry frames into it’s heavy, because yes that is what happens with that combo.
Yep, I am asking something that just about every FPS out there has. I used to smash that button until I found out about that heavy attacks parry frames and now I prefer it this way(I understand you’re talking about light attack into heavy). My method works really well when I don’t miss click!
To each his own but I don’t think I am asking something absurd, I am not asking to remove an existing functionality, keep that button the way it works now, just give me another button to just pull out the knife. I don’t think I am running out of button on my KB and this is something really easy to put in.
I see what you are saying. I did assume you meant replace the functionality of the existing melee switch, which definitely should not happen, and while I feel your idea is redundant and worse than the existing function, maybe it would help you and/or others.
Honestly the meme was Funny to hate on the devs but if they hold true too there word… im willing too give them the chance to prove them selfs.
Unfortunately that’s not realistic, the devs need to release dlc or have player base slowly erode.
They already failed at proving themselves. Game launched with 1 game mode and 3 very similar maps. Then after all this time added no real content to it. I say first they fix the huge number of bugs and give the needed content and then they get more money from us, but that’s just me.

You can compare this game to Anthem or Fallout 76. Its about them releasing a half baked game with little content and a ton of bugs. After all this time and we still have a ton of bugs and no real content.
At this point they got my money on Dutch and the game but in the future I will think twice about buying anything from them.

I can assure you I will not be buying the predator. I only play FT. Did not buy the samurai just as well. Even if they add another FT, until they fix the game I will not purchase it. Some of us do have control.

I’ve practically stopped playing this game and it is a shame, 35 quid for a beta. I made the mistake of buying the samarai aswell, his energy drain is broken. The free content is only for people who don’t buy the skins aswell so nothing is free if you spend more money on it, part of me wants city hunter as it has nostalgia from my childhood but other than that the game really has nothing else to offer myself personally. From forum browsing alot are holding out for something substantial to happen and 3 months isn’t a long time by any stretch on the scale of things but with the amount it was released with, it sure is dissapointing. I’ve seen the argument aswell that we knew what would be available at release and our money was an investment but sadly that’s the state of games these days, half baked and a down-payment on a possible future game. A list of bugs, exploits and hollow promise. The hype for myself is dead and buried but I do hope others are still enjoying this game. Day to day it looks more and more like its nostalgia keeping this boat afloat. If it had been put out as early access it wouldn’t be so bad but alot really were lead up the garden path
