Enjoying the game so far, despite it feeling terribly overpriced right now. In my opinion, it is currently the worst new game I have personally played so far this year, which is a devastating shame as Predator is my favourite movie of all time.
But after sinking countless hours into illfonic’s previous title, I have faith that they can turn this around, but the improvements need to come thick and fast in order for the game to build and maintain a healthy playerbase and keep it alive for years to come.
Here is a list of additional features I would like to see added…not an exhaustive list but things I thought of during matchmaking:
- Offline bots mode ( this would greatly appeal to gamers who are initially put off by online only games).
- Stats page (this would help track trophy / achievement progess). Friday 13th had a good approach to this.
- Daily / weekly challenges with XP / field lockers as rewards.
- Leaderboards!
- Additional appearance customisation (particularly for Fireteam!).
- More AI soldiers in camps! (This may be a clever way of addressing balance concerns without needing to directly buff the Predator, as many players have requested).
- Model viewer in extras (clearly a lot of love went into capturing the look of the Predator. It would be nice to appreciate this work up close!)
- Predator v Predator modes. For example, 2 v 2, 4 player free for all, Capture / Protect the trophy.
- Night time maps!!
