Using a glitch to hide under the map so you can’t be killed is using bugs, glitches, or vulnerabilities that are not meant to be there. Not to mention also falls under griefing because you are holding the game hostage until either the Predator lets you kill him, he leaves game, or the timer ends.

Sony has been more lenient recently on that note and games and let the company game makers deal with most of there problems unless it affects the console itself.

Few years ago Xbox actually did a massive ban of people exploiting whether be multiplayer, single player, etc. they didn’t mess around and if you wanted your account back had two choices make a new one or file a ticket stating you were innocent and proving it. Some got their accounts back, some didn’t. I knew several people who didn’t and eventually got their system bricked because they went back to doing the same stupid shit.

Sony is the one funding the game in the first place. Doesn’t matter if Illfonic has the IP to it, sony could be like well this person has been using glitches, exploiting games, etc. And we have evidence turned in and simply ban the account and if they choose the system as well.
Sony can do as it pleases whether the company acts or not.
