It occurred to me that while playing, some things could get nerfed and buffed that might actually be worth doing so:
-
Predator strength (Buff Scout to have Hunter’s health, buff Hunter to be slightly stronger, and possibly keep Berserker the same; makes the Predator a harder threat to the fire team)
-
Predator attacks (Nerf the Predator melee weapons so that the increased health means they last longer fighting, and weaker melee’s means more time fighting & not as easy to die as a fire team member)
-
AI attacks (Buff the AI to be as deadly for the fire team as the Predator, but also make them more oblivious to stealth tactics so that they don’t automatically ambush stealthy fire team players)
Assumedly, by buffing and nerfing these aspects, it should be expected that:
- Fire Team will have a tougher time completing objectives
- Fire Team will have a tougher time battling AI
- Predator has no need to rush into battling Fire Team and can stalk from distances or close up
- Predator doesn’t have to worry about being killed instantly, especially the Scout class
- Predator can’t ambush the Fire Team as a whole, rather pick them off, waiting for the AI to beat down their health, and then pick the weakest ones out one by one
- Predator needs to rely on strategic combat or hunting rather than ambushing and rushing
