I have noticed over the course of a ton of games of me playing as predator that I die very easily and I don’t even have a chance to use self destruct because they always easily disarm it so in that category I would make the self destruct a few seconds shorter and in terms of his health I would give the predator more heath or make him more bullet resistant because the fire team just mowing down the predator into ground beef in two seconds is ridiculous and needs to stop make the predator killable but not too weak to the point where the fire team can win every game.

It ultimately comes down to skill, not saying tweaks still aren’t needed, but if you’re getting chewed up most games, reassess your strategy. Experiment with other load outs and tactics. I had the same problem early then I just changed up my tactics. Stopped charging in trying to melee. I’ve switched towards a more slow paced, damage over time model. Early in the match my goal is just to wound em as much as possible, get the FT to burn through their ammo/health kits/items. Then I play for the kill in the latter half of the match.

Easy wins:
- Pick bow and arrow. Hit enemy once.
- Slam onto enemy, downing him instantly.
Then jump away, and as his teammates go to revive, you shoot them. GG.

Eh, if you’re a level 60, playing mainly as a Predator that’s more than enough time to learn the game and graduate out of “noob” status.

The self destruct sequence isn’t a cakewalk, depends on how quick you can get the mask shot off, kill the Predator so he’s on the ground, then pray the interaction works before you get chance to unlock it…all the while hearing the bastard laughing and the countdown getting closer to the big bad boom. No, it’s not easy. It’s fine as it is.

Level 60, no disrespect, doesn’t mean anything in this game. It’s just a personal reflection of how good you are at maximising XP. There’s people who are level 100 and never used Predator. And even if you have only ever played as Predator, with the huge amounts of XP you receive it’s not that long a period of gameplay to suddenly think you’re going to give any Fireteam a tough time. Not slighting on your achievements, just saying that level system in this game has no relevance when comparing skill.
All I can say is I’d like to see you play. See what the problem is.

Nope. Its not needed. the fireteam is weak. You are just not that good. I’ve killed loads of fireteams. All you need to do is change tactics a bit. Don’t keep getting shot and you’ll be fine.

Agent I agree with you maybe I do need to change my play style a bit but I think a good majority of us can agree that the predator is gonna need a buff in terms of heath. Because I’m not just saying this in terms of just the predator perspective I’m saying this in terms of the fire team as well because as a fire team member I’ve just been mowing down the predator and killing him and I feel bad

Alright few things and bare with me. Hear me out.
Turn off Cross play if it isn’t off. KB&M just has an advantage over controller. Im sorry but tough tiddies to my fellow console players. That’s just the way it is. Its like cooking/prepping food with two hands versus six arms. As someone who plays both console and PC games, you’ll notice the ease of use dif when you get used to it. Its why all the try hards of console Seige buy expense ass bypass adapters to be good at console…waste of time to be honest lol.
Second, Predator is in a very strong place right now since the patch. He got buffed indirectly - Fireteam lost some of their max ammo. They can shoot you up as much as they want, counter hunt but you play evasive and defensive smartly in the trees, they’ll pepper you up and nip your health but burn through time and more ammo than they wanted. They can’t refill as much as they wanted, the full ammo pack glitch/bug got fixed too.
Scouts don’t not belong in the fray. This class is all distance. And I mean distance. A quick claim risks SW 100% of the time.
Hunters have a good health pool that is truly the middle ground. You’re mobile, can risk a quick claim and not so much SW.
If you’re Berserker you might want to play a different approach than all melee. Most FT have your order ready to serve you right out the door.
Predator does not need a buff. Yes spam spotting is annoying but most PS4 folk can’t properly spot and ADS at the same time. If they do both, you notice they dont nail all their head shots.
Play the time game. The long game. Plasma hits and burn their resources, less in their face when they’re aggressive and more hit and run. Don’t fall for the solo guy running away alone.
Injure them before you get close, make sure you hurt him before going for some boxing matches.
Pick them off from a distance. DBNO guy crawling for help? Full PC shot his ass while buddy is picking him up so one is hurt and the other is just dead, grab the skull later.
On PS4, 4 Stack teams can hurt you but if you play the time or bleed game, you’ll have them crawling to the chopper.
Its not like the Slaughter House scene in the second movie, you’ll be melted in seconds.
Its like the first half of the 87 movie where he killed one at a time. Then waited, grabbed another one. Waited.
