“you called for a buff? your bad”
Unfortunately, this really just does come down to “Git gud”. You need to get some more practice in. Playing the pred isn’t like playing the FT. Its currently a unique experience. You need to learn to be more selective about when you strike. Don’t think you’ll get away with dropping in the four of them and expect to come out on top. Find one farther from the rest and then you strike. It also might be your loadout. A scout without fearless using the warclub is very ill advised. You don’t have the health or damage to make it effective. I don’t know your loadout so I can’t judge that way. I’m sure that you’ll get the hang of it eventually, but you need to adapt to the game, not the other way around.
I wouldn’t say I’m in a small minority. You just need to find a playstyle that suits you. Its not the case of copying a build or hey I hear so and so is OP, I’m going to jump in feet first as it. Trial and error allows players to find what combination suits them best and after a bit of practice, I’d imagine they’d win far more often.
And I already stated I lose to highly coordinates teams. When Dutch first came out, alot of people brought their A game and I was losing about 40% of matches. Though I hadn’t adjusted my build to compensate the new meta.
That picture wasnt evidence to show off my skill . Merely to poke fun at a forum friend :) no more. I have fought teams with 4 players like @VENN7eance , they are enjoyable matches and give me a good game. Typically last 8-10mins and I net 7 kills. Some matches I’ve eaten nearly 6000 points of damage. Still ends up in a win for me.
Hmm I dont see, need least 2 to carry a bad team.
You put up a good fight :) had to bring my B game instead of my C game to that match 😘
Then momma is a proud lady😊👍🏼💯
Game seems pretty balanced at this point on both sides and I’ve played both and no I actually enjoy playing as fire team since AI are skater and stronger you got to put some thinking in it now. I’ve always liked playing as pred but game is grate now. I’m enjoying it!
You my friend have hit the nail on the head. And it’s what a lot of people claiming they win nearly every match as predator seem to not understand.
It’s a bummer that we don’t have any hard stats but from what I’ve seen in the forums, my personal experience and the experiences of my friends on both PC and Playstation, you are absolutely in the small minority of Predator players. Out of the last 100 matches, I’ve had maybe 20 Predators I would consider to be good and I believe only 6 of them actually won the match. My friends who play as a team on Playstation are of average skill and still net a 80% winrate which is ridiculous.
And I’m aware that your picture was for fun but my point remains the same. They were a lower-tier Fireteam and perhaps I overestimated VENN7eance, I didn’t see the actual gameplay. As I said, you will lose 90-100% of your games against the top-tier Fireteams, not 40%, because the game is unbalanced. I don’t care what strategy you run, how good your aim is or even if you use exploits- the top Fireteams have seen it all and they don’t care, they will find you and they will kill you.
When I say you only require one good player, I’m speaking of games against all but the small pool of good Predators. It only takes one guy to spot the Predator for the potatoes, one guy to hit their shots when harassing the predator at the perimeter and one guy to light up the Predator if he tries to engage in melee. Any Predator that breaks from that extremely common style of play requires a team and then you hit a skill ceiling where Predator can’t help but come up short every time.
Yeah I don’t get why people rely on remaining cloak on the move so much.
I found that flipping it on and off you not only have a moving target but a changing visual target to keep track off. It messes with people looking for refraction
The game in the far distance isn’t the best looking so people can start to see pixels.move that didn’t really.
LUL You obviously haven’t faced many good predators then.
Scare I played beserker and I got killed every game
it all depends who goes the predator or the fireteam , if you go the predator and not very good at it you will get your butt kicked vice versa and it also depends on what level the players that are playing with eg high level predator(better perks and weapons) to low level fireteam(stuff all perks and weapons) vice versa(match making is pretty crappy, it is a serious problem which needs to be resolved). Also another thing is how you have you character(setup) layout is played, it will help you to find what your weakness and strengths are, so experiment.
Also practice makes perfect :}
