Bugged Katana should have been the new feature...

Thinking about the Katana bug where it kept stacking damage with every hit and it came to me that it should have been the special ability of the katana and stayed that way. Especially since the balance is always favored to Fireteam, there is no way you should fall to katana that easily. Parry, step aside, or have the entire team focus fire on the Predator ya lazy forehead. It’s on you that you can’t do shit due to low skill. If a Predator can pull it off, it’s successful reward to complete the combo if Fireteam can’t disrupt it from either option I gave out earlier. If Predator fails and get’s melted, that’s on them too.

It doesn’t have great tracking either and yet I still hear malding about it. All the bugged shit and op shit on Fireteam but one melee advantage Predator has and Fireteam cries about it. Shit drives me nuts.

Pls cry me a river and bring back that feature.

It takes real balls to try to parry a katana or a swipe from the hammer. I love the challenge, but ultimately i do know what I get myself into. you roll the dice.

aren’t stacking with a melees common though? Katana especially? But i mean it doesn’t take very many hits with katana. I rememver almost two or three consecutive will down a FT member depending what your specializations and perks aare. One melee attack at a time would be 4 or 5 swipes.

I think doubling the bleed damage would be more unique, and very effective.

Well both weapons have bad tracking so it’s easy to side step their attacks. Also, long as you face a Predator when it’s attacking you head on, you can parry it quite easily. That is just one half of why doing melee tactics as Predator is difficult, which going by the second reason…

Stacking with melee can give a huge damage boost, however it means nothing if you can’t hit a target due to bad tracking optimization and the ability to parry just nullifies melee attacks. Combine that with high DPS from Fireteam, neverminded the combine might of all 4, can easily weaken the Predator into a glowing green blob real quick. So even if you get downed, any semi-decent Fireteam member can send the Predator into second wind or kill it outright. I mean it’s easy to take down potatoes but the moment one at least knows the fundamentals, that alone will change the gameplay into Fireteam’s favor.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I hear base light damage is weaker than wristblade damage? If that is so, then that needs a buff. There is something wrong with a specialized weapon that is weaker then the base light weapon.

Although the initial damage is less, at 25, the bleed damage will up the total damage to 40. So, no, the base light damage is not weaker than the wristblades.
