Bugs I met after 2.29

Platform: PC, EGS

  • Predator armor parts, head and dreadlocks become visible when switching between primary weapons and gears. That is, the caster and wrist blades are not affected.
Maybe it seemed to me that this happens only on the predator side. While playing as FT, I didn’t notice the semi invisible ones.
  • Thermal vision too bright on night maps.

  • The helicopter doesn’t move away from the location and hangs over it after the mission has started. On all maps.

  • Visual bug with player slots in the lobby.
It looks like the player gets into the predator slot, but then the game decides to throw him into the FT, loads his equipment, but doesn’t change the slot size.

  • Predator T-pose.
This guy’s class was listed as an Assault in the map menu.

  • Invisible colllisions on the Airstrip map, impenetrable for grenades, which caused me to kill myself in a match while trying to blow up a fleeing predator.
  • Crashing

In a match as FT, I met a predator who, after half of the match, attacking us, just got stuck in one place with the running animation. He continued to stay in one place and run until we shot him.

In the next match as the Predator, also after half of the playing time, I jumped onto containers, dropped two traps and suddenly the game froze. The picture froze, the sounds ended. I thought that now the game will crash to the desktop, but maybe after ten seconds the sounds returned and the game came to life. I found a predator in the same place, with zero health and no ability to budge. Although various animations like hitting, jumping and running still worked.

Thanks for posting evidence of all of this, the devs might not believe us otherwise lol.

If you bring up an issue, for example the game being laggy or crashing, they what you to post pics of it like wth! Isn’t it self explanatory?

Maybe the devs want to see where and under what conditions lags and crashes occur. To check this place ourselves and try to reproduce the issue. In any case, a demonstrative video that happens on the player’s monitor is much more informative than just text.
Although, to track down crashes, I think they would need some kind of diagnostic utility. Such one was in the Outriders demo. When the demo crashed, this utility would send a log of the last activity in the game.

I can agree with you to some extent, but if I say the game now feels so much more laggy (it’s always been on pc), it should be enough for them to tackle the issue, or at least look into it without me having to provide a log file.

All they need to know is that a lot of us on PC have more than enough hardware to run modern triple A titles smoothly on-line, yet PHG is a major pain in the ass to run smoothly even with powerful PCs. This has been an issue since release and they are well aware of it.
