Build suggestions for Predator

Okay so I haven’t constiently played Predator since 1.10 and when 1.16 patch came out I played Fireteam more often, and well Im now super rusty as pred now and with the recent perk changes I would like help from more experienced Predators what works and what doesn’t since 2.0

Long Jump Is super useful, you can regen stamina during leap without adrenal. The problem is you run into a lot more trees.

Wut is the play style ur looking for?

I do hit and run tactics so wut works best with me is hunter pred with adrenal boost, I use spectral awareness so I’m not relying on my isolation to find ft, and cooling syncs for when I ground slam

Then my weapons r combi and net gun
And my gear is meds, tracking devices, and the wrist launcher

Well I like melee alot but from what I played its less viable so Ig an agressive/ranged melee build, if thats even viable anymore, I dont zerk rush I use my plamsa caster alot.

well like the meta as fuck build is city/hunter
combi
bow
medkits/beartraps
big pouch adrenal/down range literally anything

but if you want a more melee build than like
hunter
eldersword
netgun/any ranged weapon
medkit bear traps
adrenal/fearless fast hands big pouch

if you want a dumb build that is fun and does work
any hunter (noticing a theme here i bet)
disc
stick
medkits beartraps (also probably noticing a theme here)
dithired lens down range literally anything else probably big pouch tho (it’s currently the best perk in the game)

? oh if your talking about when it randomly turns off no i don’t believe so (albeit i haven’t played much this past week been working alot of OT) otherwise if it has been fixed idk

but like it does increase your damage output at least for a while however the bow still sometimes has arrows that straight up go through the FT but don’t register as hits

I mostly haven’t been using the bow cause of arrows not registering hits, but these builds look good I’ll try them out thank you.

it’s the sole reason i don’t use the bow cause actually when arrows go throught the FT but don’t register as hits i tilt so hard it’s at the point now where i legitimately started just quitting matches when it happens

but i do understand that the bow is probably the best weapon for the predator in the game even still i just can’ bring myself to use a weapon that can be inconsistant

I personally find Elder the worst class. Too slow on the ground and too squishy. Scout is a close second, but that is because I haven’t used scout in months.

Best perks to run are down range impenetrable and Large pouch. Use mostly your plasma caster. Like all game. With down range it’s a very reliable source of damage. Then bring the spear and net gun. These are essentially there for the few situations you’ll need them. Again plasma caster is the best weapon. But after getting a down, spear throwing the reviver is an excellent option. And the net gun, sometimes you won’t use it all game. Some games you’ll catch two people alone and net them get a couple slashes in jump out. Sometimes it will save your life. Just a great flex item. Bringing any melee weapon is, in my opinion. Just for fun. Not to actually make you better. Because melee is so risky. Drop in get 2 slashes from behind with your claws and leap out. That’s the only way you should be doing it. Little slashes to soften them up. Which the wrist blades do fine. So bringing a whole melee weapon is pretty much overkill as melee is not a great choice atm. I repeat one last time. Plasma caster plasma caster plasma caster.

It’s great but fucking hell like you say the hitbox is a pain same for the accuracy
