In the P:HG tapes, they talk about how the Yautja are basically invading Earth. Yautja typically use burners for warfare with other species.
Give us a plasma assault rifle.

The Book, Stalking Shadows, kind of hints at them taking more interest in our planet. At first we were just sport, but we’ve started fighting back, which Dutch 2025 theorizes, makes us even better trophies. As the number of Predator incursions increases Dutch is also afraid that we’ve gone from big game to being a big pain in the ass. Although the Female Predator, the one that obliterates Dutch’s team in africa, seems to know Dutch and leaves him alive. So perhaps, as in the expanded lore, they are starting to take more and more interest in humanity, and our potential. I don’t see a Yautja invasion coming, they wouldn’ gain anything from it.

I definitely would support a plasma rifle for Pred. Or a rapid fire shoulder cannon at least.
I think a rapid fire plasma caster would work but seeing a predator with a rifle seems strange to me.
Well maybe if the french didnt surrender at the first sign of danger you could fight the aliens off.

I wouldn’t be against it. Give Predator an equivalent to ft’s own rifle. Honestly Predator does need a mid to long range rifle or gun. Something that isn’t a plasmacaster.
Melee weapons are fine and all but range is where it’s needed to shake things up from Pc spam, bow, and spear.

In the “Napoleon” Dutch tape, they talk about how they either see us as a more worthy prize, or if they see us as a threat. If it’s the latter, I feel like a Burner for the pred would make sense.

I thought the same thing when I finished the book. I hate to say it but it felt like they were trying to loosely adapt that 2018 mess of a movie into the universe
