Camera Angles

I’m unsure on a fix that doesn’t change the game, but the camera angles on your Teammates when you’re spectating needs something. Too often, you’ll be spectating and your teammate will be backed against a wall and all you can see is the outside of the wall they are backed against. Feel like it would be a big quality of life fix if you could move the camera while spectating. I understand that it causes the issue that your teammates could then act as overwatch via things like discord, but you can disable in-game chat for sure. Like I said, I know it causes a new issue, but I also feel like people are missing out on a lot of cool animations that you guys put effort into, only to have it obscured by a wall or something else. This is my only gripe with the game…absolutely love it otherwise! Thanks for giving me a chance to voice my opinion!.

So why in theory this is good but and maybe just for this sorta scenario!

But if you the player you are spectating is not in a building and you two are in party chat, you now have a extra set if eyes that has a 360 degree view of you and can now give call outs and hints for if the pred is about to attack from the rear or what have you!

I do thank you for the Thread and Hopefully my explanation is satisfactory

It’s worse for Pred

Must be a tough fix cuz it’s been there since day one

Yep. Nice idea in theory but not viable in practice for that reason alone.

Yeah! It would create alot of unwanted complaints!

The op idea could be implemented for when they enter a building as he said u get Blocked by objects but I dont think they would make it so the game understands them being in a building to being outside the building!!

Tbh if would have been cool if the game forced GC if you spectated the Pred! Since ur skull is on the back of it lol!!

A fix is just allowing first person view while spectating

And a first person camera option for pred

That’s an idea maybe!? I think it’d be awesome to watch the Pred claiming his trophy either from the POV of the Pred or the POV of the Fireteam member. Mortal Kombat gets away with that type of thing so it wouldnt be a question of it being too much gore… It would fix the issue of the view being obscured by walls or stationary objects. Would be a nice bit of polish…

Haha! Skull cam! One solitary eyeball just dangling out.

Not that I can say much about solitary eyeballs.
