Predators should not be able to trigger it. This makes no sense. This should be a mechanic for the FT. What’s the point of having those camp alarm devices if the predator can show his face a second, trigger the alarm way before the FT even get’s there. There are NO counters to this mechanic.

Weak AI is the counter to having the FT fight the pred and AI NPCs. Camps Alarms are the punishment for the FT doing something wrong.

Thats how i play pred go to all areas of the map with ai and trigger all alarms make the game impossible for the ft to pinpoint me. Lol

Logistically if the “guerillas” (AI) are sounding a camp alarm in response to the threat of the FT, why would they NOT sound the alarm when spotting an unknown monster alien threat. Also it’s called strategy. The pred should honestly be able to directly trigger the alarm on purpose. If not by interaction than using some new equippable gear to remote hack it and be able to slow down the FT’s interactions with electronic mission objectives.

It’s a very cheap tactic for Predators.
If a Predator triggers it. The AI reinforcement should be focusing on his ass instead of swarming the Fire Team across the fucking map.
Then again. That would actually require an AI programmer and this developer apparently can’t afford one even after the investments they received from Sony and Epic.
Missions is still unable for stealth completing, there is always Tower Defence part of every mission. Alarm is just a feature that help to make them little bit easy
When I said it does not make sense, is from a gameplay point of view. How is the FT supposed to counter this tactic when the predator get’s there far before they do?
The NPC’s that sound the alarm should only trigger when the FT is in view.
Luckily the AI is storm trooper level intelligence and what not

They do drain your resources AND give a good opening to the predator, if not, why they would even bother doing it?
Their pathing and tracking may not be the best but once they home in on you, they’ll aim bot you across the fucking map. Heavies and snipers can drain your health pretty quickly regardless of a player’s experience. It’s still a swarm. There’s no avoiding that shit. Not to mention that this game loves to spawn them all around you. In fact. Right next to you.
It doesn’t make sense for a pred to trigger the alarm? U mean to tell me if u saw a massive alien running round ur camp, obviously wielding weapons, u wouldn’t run for backup?

Considering these are their hunting grounds for about a week, the alarms shouldn’t be used. How many times do you think it was pulled because someone thought they saw something? To have the army rush there only for it to have already moved on? I imagine that the guy pulling the alarm if there is no cause get’s shot. So the predator shouldn’t be enough to raise the alarm. An elite spec ops squad isn’t something they deal with every day, and is the time to pull the alarm.
They don’t pull the alarm if u just pass thru.(I hope u know that). Most times I sit there and have to take at least 20 damage or even kill an NPC for one of em to trigger the alarm. It’s not a “I think I saw sumn imma call in help” kinda deal. It’s a “holy balls wut is this thing and y does it look like it’s going to kill me?”
Sooo…humans triggering an alarm when they see a giant monster/alien trouncing around massacring anything with a heat signature doesn’t make sense.

They also do chase you (to certain degree) until the FT gets close and starts shooting the AI.

If anything the alarm should be buffed. If you saw a fellow soldier spontaneously explode before your eyes, the alarm would last a lot longer.
If they see you enough to shoot, they go for the alarm. It doesn’t matter if you stay, but pulling the alarm to have the big guns come in only for there to be nothing must have happened more than once. They live there. They’ve seen the bodies strung up. They are probably shot for wasting the manpower. The predator might kill you. The guy above you will kill you.
