Okay… can someone actually make groups of people seperate testing on PC only on all graphic settings and then group of people testing on PS4?
I am playing currently on all
MEDIUM settings
And cloak works fine for me on PC in closer ranges and actually has like transparent-ish distortion
And goes full invis in distance.
Can anyone else confirm this on PC?
On PS4 I can say that the cloak is a bit much especially when in the sun. Had a match yesterday on derailed and the pred was on the roof of the long building shooting at us with the bow and the only way we could see his location was from the arrow trails when he moved you couldn’t see anything. When I got close he got visible but was still hard to see except when he went underneath the side of the building that’s covered in shadows there he became a lot easier to see.
How about when the person came close as predator, was he visible as in has distortions?
Yeah he was easier to see but not nearly as visible as they used to be. The cloak up close seems like what they used to have further away before the patch If that makes sense.
Oh, then yeah it works the same as me on PC? isnt that good, it might be a bit visible on PC tho…
The problem I see is for the frame rate. the fall of moving frames makes the pred invisible, and if you move it is totally invisible and it is because the image becomes as blurry as the layer
Don’t get wrong I don’t want a massive nerf to this or anything just a slight adjustment to it to make it a bit easier to see when they’re sprinting or moving up close.

I am on PC, I’ve tried even the bottom low setting and I still can’t see shit even when he leaps 10m from me.
Really… played like 20 matches in past hour
So far on medium and low im able to see him when he is jumping lol
Tree and him leaping from predator is visible if u know how to trace him properly, i am not joking.
The cloak from my POV is nearly perfect on PS4 now.
In far distances it is very hard to see the cloaked predator at all, even when moving. That’s the idea of a cloak, I guess.
Whereas the situation changes in mid-range resp. short distances.
This might also be the awaited nerfing of SAWZ50 for pros! What you cannot see, you cannot shoot…?

I could track him just fine before, now I can’t. I just a few games to test it (not in custom games with a friend). I know I don’t have the best eyes in the world but before I had no issues, not I find it impossible to track him if he is 10-15m from me and he is leaping.

That means, when the predator is going into melee, its cloak should be so that you have exactly the time, to get your knife out - not more, not less… Fear factor :)
In particular, the cloak should be lousy, when the predator is near AND fast. If he just is near, but standing or crouching, the cloak should be still good - if you ask me.
The dependence from distance seems to be fine now from my POV (PS4). Whether the dependance from speed is fine too yet, I cannot say - I had to less melees since the update.
But at least I can say, that there has not been anything annoying about the new cloak yet - for me :)

Yup. On PS4 I think it’s perfect. It’s hard as fuck to see, which is supposed to be the damn point. It didn’t stop a random on my squad chasing and hunting a Predator down with his SAWZ, he didn’t have an issue tracking the Predator.
The problem is people have got comfortable with their easy melts, and now they actually have to focus and are taking losses it’s hurting egos. The cloak isn’t going to be changed anytime soon, so I suggest people stop whining and think about improving their gameplay if they want to go back to winning.

Hey I’m still melting the fuckers, it’s just harder to see them when they’re sprinting near me or at me so for most part I track them through audio though it’s a bit annoying at the moment what with all the pig noises I hear no matter where they are.
