Your telling me that a base feature is because of PS plus and is essential? What about blocking people do I have to pay for that too? Not to mention blocking people is a thing. That’s entirely base and should be base. It’s also a benefit for sony since if we didn’t have that it’d massively ruin PSN and that means less sales. It goes both ways.

Microsoft started it because people were willing to pay for xbox live.

Shouldn’t have to pay for online multiplayer anywhere. It’s a relic of the MMO age and games have moved past the era of subscriptions and demos.

What really sucks as the new trend is that you lose your entire library of games even if you own physical copies because physical copies are just keys now.

IE Physical installed copy of injustice can’t get past the title screen if you unsub from ps plus, as the date you’ve unsubbed is stored offline.
You lose any DLCs you own until resubbing also. And if you’re banned everything is gone forever.

Discs don’t have any data on them anymore. Its just a key that enables you to start downloading & its required to play the game. And like OP said there is no cross-purchasing. You have to buy a physical and digital copy seperately and this is done intentionally to screw over the consumer. They’ve made physical copies worthless.

I have a account that is permanently suspended and can still play Kakarot and Jurassic world evolution both digital downloaded on that account before suspended and still works so again false. Go back to ur pc u know nothing

I am seeing as I own a sony bricked ps4 fat for account sharing more than one primary ps4. Digitally purchased games = gone.
