Can we get more distorted taunts?

Why is there only one? The perfect mimicry is weak, atleast distort it when the pred is in thermal vision.

Where’s “Help Me” and “Its a trap!” from Predators?

The “want some candy” is a decent step in the right direction.

Even if the taunts weren’t perfect and only had a portion of the taunt delivered.

Would be awesome!

Rebellion nailed it honestly.

Even Mortal Kombat got this right.
It was always supposed to be a creepy signature taunt not a perfect mimicry imitation of human speech unless they’re laying a trap. Samples the voice initially and then plays back the imitation. Probably what that unfinished taunt button in the beta was supposed to do, if anyone remembers.

Not sure why illfonic doesnt like sound mixing. Sucks because this is pretty iconic for Predator.

I mean, I can get why it doesn’t have the distortion. The intention, I believe, is that you pretty much imitate a Fireteam Member, get someone to come over to you, and then you jump them. However, that’s pretty unlikely to ever happen if:

A.) They look at their map.

B.) Recognize which Voice Lines are associated with what action/situation

C.) Are in a Pre-Made.

So it might as well be better off being distorted like the Candy Voice Line because nobody has ever said “Yea I spammed the FT voice lines to win” in the history of this game.

While I’d agree to an extent…If you look at the first movie the creepiness came from context and not the sound itself. Jungle hunter mimicked Mac perfectly when he was taunting Dillon

I would love to customize my mimicry wheel with “Come on out Mother Fucker” so I can use it against hiding/camping FT

Just got a neet idea from this.
Maybe the mimicry wheel could be used to “order around” the AI into doing simple tasks
Like hunt down FT, come to the Predator’s current location, focus fire on the more healthier FT, focus fire on the weakest FT, or tell them to go trigger the alarm

They can do perfect imitations like the “help me” but that seems like its after the voice has been sampled and processed by the biomask.
Throwing out the distorted imitations seems to purely be for the purpose of playing with people.

I wish The Predator wasn’t such a shit movie, how hard would it have been to make the predator communicate via fucking around with their own voices rather than yautja google translate?

This concepts pretty straightforward and I feel like illfonic could actually pull it off.
Maybe as a different pred gear or class ability if they need to.

Different mimicry commands for different Predator classes that sounds pretty neet
Or maybe you can only take two mimicry commands per hunt

Agree. I like that they’ve been giving preds different roars as of late. I hate the purring so different clicks would be nice too & vision modes unique to the class.
