For real, I don’t understand what the obsession with making a bunch of unnecessary noise and killing pigs is as fireteam. It’s fr annoying, it gives you no XP, and on the off chance you get a retarded predator, he may not have been able to find you and your dumbass just gave away the location of the fireteam by killing a pig and giving the predator a general idea of where the fireteam is, as he can see dead pigs on his mini-map.
Can we stop killing pigs as fire team pls?

LOL! I never understood whenever I saw fireteams killing them (Pred Main) and seeing streamers do it and celebrating.
I’m always like “uh… you know the Predator can now probably use that boar and see it’s dead body for easier use, right???”

Can’t speak for PC, but it’s actually not a bad tactic on PS4. From what I’ve experienced, dead pigs don’t show up on thermal. Which makes sense considering the body will have gone cold. So while the body shows up on the map, the thermal can’t see it. And sometimes they are nigh impossible to see in the bush. I’ve killed pigs as Predator, come back later to the same spot, and could not for the life of me find the pig.

Yeah, I think that works if it’s intentional, but usually It’s some low level fireteam members that obviously have no clue wtf their doing that usually kill the pigs, which leads me to believe they wouldn’t put that much thought into it. @double0behave

A lot of people seem to think shooting pigs doesn’t show on the Predator map. TBH, this is the way it should be. How would a Predator know where a pig was just killed. But this isn’t the case and only provides me more food, and their location 😁

It depends, it can be beneficial depending where you kill them. Sure the pred can see them on the map, but if you shoot them in some bushes, its still gonna take him longer to find it, than if it was walking around with a heat signature making noises.
And wont show up on his isolation.
And you do get 10xp for killing them xD

Yeah, I play predator quite often too, but I just decided to play as fireteam bc predator matches were taking upwards of 30 mins, and I came to realize how retarded the fireteam is. They’re so good when I go against fireteam as predator, but when I play fire team I get on a team where it seems like all my team mates had a brush with that 'tism.
Weird. Before I knew about the pigs showing up on the predators mini map, I actually killed a pig as fire team to see if it would do anything, and I didn’t get any XP at all.

I think FT players who kill the boars are either new, don’t know how beneficial they are to Predators, or think that everything has to die.

Yeah ahaha sorry broooo. I play predator a lot too but no one ever kills pigs as fireteam when I play him. However, the fireteam always kills pigs when I’m on the fireteam and no one ever has that mic on, so it had to be said.
