I’m thinking of buying the Ps5 version of Predator, can I transfer the data I progressed in the ps4 version to ps5? I am using a translator.

You don’t need to buy the PS5 version. The PS4 version is running exactly the same build. They tried to split them but couldn’t, so now PS4 runs the same build version as the PS5

Graphics are practically identical. You guys fall victims of placebo effects all the time.
Even on PC there wasn’t a major graphical change. Changing the LUT and modifying the “low shadows” settings is not a “graphics overhaul”. The only good thing graphics-wise that came out of the new release was just performance fixes, which I am thankful for.

It’s running the same build but the frame rate on the PS4 version is absolute cancer. Especially when they first dropped the “new gen” update. The PS5 Version plays a lot smoother.

I mean they did fix a couple of issues I didn’t like, for example manakin hands wearing the elite outfits and the tapes not in order

you guys were able to play the game on ps5 before, even though there was not an official ps5 version. Is that not possible anymore? You now have to purchase the ps5 version to play on ps5?
Before the new-gen updates the game was different on PS4 from PS5. On PS4 you couldn’t turn off the frame rate cap, but on PS5 you could. Now, because there are two versions of the game, one for PS4 & one for PS5, if you don’t buy the PS5 version of the game & you stick to playing on the PS4 version, you can’t turn off the frame rate cap because that option doesn’t exist on the PS4 version of the game, so you’re forced to play the game with terrible frame rates unless you buy the PS5 version, where the game automatically runs way smoother, and I’m pretty sure there is no frame rate cap by default but I could be wrong because I haven’t checked all those settings since I had to reassign all my hot keys & sensitivities back when Illfonic reset everyone’s save data.

I dunno to me I can see the difference, ps4 looks like a ps3 game and laggy as hell, when I got the ps5 it was smoother and the graphics look as good as the ghost recon Predator trailer so I can’t complain except I wish for plant physics as well I dunno since I keep playing on night maps but like I said I’m still testing both versions till I report what was fixed and the minor things I’ll accept like example double loot over loot on ps5 😎
