Cannot toggle NVGs

United Kingdom, Scotland.
System: PS4

It should be showing the d-pad to the left of toggle. As you can see it’s not there.

I’m also running the mercenary ('87) assault rifle on my fireteam character so i should be able to switch between the automatic side of it to the grenade launcher side of it. But when i press down on the d-pad nothing happen’s meaning it don’t switch.

So i deleted the full game and reinstalled it again. Issue is still there. Don’t matter if i am in a private match or quick play match.

Down on the d-pad just won’t do anything as fireteam.

No it’s not what you think it’s the bottom one you have to hold it down

If you notice with my screen shot, there is no d-pad next to were it says toggle. You cannot hold d-pad down to switch to night vision.

You cannot tap down on d-pad to switch from automatic to grenade launcher side of weapon either.

Glad you noticed it. My american friend has no issues. Waiting on another friend from ireland to get back to me since he is sort of closer to me. So might be an issue with patch, not sure until i get more feed back from use.

I already made a thread on this, im having the same issue are you using custom controls or the default control scheme?? A moderator or developer is telling me i need to delete my saved data and im pretty sure that will do nothing but im sure they will tell you to do the same 😑😑

Standard controls on ps4, have never changed them. Im in the same mind set as you about deleting saved data will do nothing. Does the d-pad show next to were it say’s toggle NVG’s for you.

Are you using custom controls scheme or default controls scheme???

Try deleting your save data and then check if the issue still persists. Your game is having issues with your keybindings, so you need a fresh save file to fix it.

Im using custom controls but have you tried holding down on the d pad?? It should work on the default controls scheme

Yes it just don’t do anything. I have never changed any buttons on the controller what so ever and i been playing since beta.

Seems to have fixed the issue d-pad is now showing next to were it says toggle NVGs and can now change from automatic shot to single shot or grenade part if it’s built in to assault weapon. Will have to re input my set ups for pred and fireteam all over again though.

But i thank you for steering me in the right direction with this.
