Can't Get A Game Quickplay As Predator (Oceanic Region PC)

Queue for predator and after 15mins always get put in a empty lobby by myself which no matter how long you leave for (e.g left for 2 hrs) it will not fill. Happens every time and is occurring to everyone I know on Oceanic (20+ players) on PC.

Game info shows Matchmaking up until 14min 30sec at that time the estimated wait time disappears. Matchmaking status then changes to searching until 15 mins approx between 15 mins and 15min 30sec the game places me into an empty lobby as predator.

I have tried this using a VPN and connected to an Australian server and American server, the matchmaking process remains the same as stated above so region does not seem to be the issue, end result is an empty lobby with no other players able to join/connect to.

I have tested my network connection to the my router and then to outside the local network with no issues (packet loss etc). This seems to be a connectivity issue with the Predator Hunting Grounds servers and matching clients together.

Also confirmed that players I know of with PS4 who have stated that this seems to not be an issue for them in Oceanic region at least.

Fire team works fine and can get a game within a couple mins.

I’ve had games pop in around 5-6 mins. I did get an empty lobby last night though.
The matchmaking is buggy af. Hopefully next patch fixes it.

I have a PS4 and PC copy, live in Australia, crossplay has been enabled since release.

I experience 15 minute wait times back to back, where an empty lobby loads at the moment it reaches 15 minutes practically. I wait a further 5 minutes for any delayed connections from either PC or PS4 users, and neither appear.

So I re-queue and experience the same thing for each 15 minute block. Obviously this game is working for Europe and Americas, not so much for Oceania.

Can we get some love from Illfonic to acknowledge these ongoing issues, and hopefully some sort of plan of action to resolve?

Exactly Beetlegauise, some confirmation that there is still an ongoing problem that has been identified and that there is an action plan in place to address the ongoing connectivity issues in the Oceania region would be appreciated.

I appreciate that there is a patch in the works but some further information regarding known issues would be good to know.

I can confirm I also experience the same. always happen when I choose “predator”

playing with bots would be grand.

I’m so glad I payed $60 to stare at this main menu for 15-20 minutes only to join an empty lobby and then start the whole process over again.

Seriously, I’ve probably sat in from of the main menu screen longer than I’ve been in the actual game.
In fact, after playing this game for a week I haven’t played a SINGLE match as Predator.

I’m playing from China, I’ve also tried connecting to various VPN servers, but I have no better luck than with my Chinese shiternet connection.

Mine happens the same thing, not only on this screen. When he passes it, he enters another screen where only the predator and I appear, and he waits infinitely for other players to enter.
It is practically impossible to be able to play a game.
