Just waited 20 min…no game …exited tried again its currently at 16 minutes …still no match found…getting frustrated now…i cant play as predator…

Welcome to the club, next fix needs to be a QoL fix it shouldn’t take 30 minutes to find a game as the predator
If i try again a 3rd time…thats going to be a full hour trying to play a game…not good atall
This is matchmaking ques for you. It isn’t a “bug” it can’t be “patched” it is simply everyone trying to play predator and no one playing fireteam. If you want to play then queue as fireteam, I never have an issue getting a game. You also need to consider the background level check as it will try to pair you with players of a similar level as well as region. A lot of factors come into play here not just “oh matchmaking is broken”. Getting pretty tired of reading people bitching about not being able to play pred when there are plenty of avenues out there for you to get involved and play private matches with folks such as PS groups, Discords, etc.

Then base your brain in reality of the gaming world dude. Go play private matches and quit complaining about something the cannot fix without adding more game mechanics and modes. Also the game has been on a week and we should be seeing a content update within a few weeks so if it triggers you that much go play something else.
Also do you have crossplay turned off? Thats a legit question.

Your anger rests solely on the devs and the asymmetrical model they followed for the game the wait times are a direct result of everyone feeling just like you, your not missing much the predator is still garbage but then again so is fireteam so too bad there isnt bots to play against its the only hope this game has at this point.
they can have it like F13 where all 5 load into same lobby and predator is chosen at random among the 5 players. can have selectable preference for those who dont want to play FT or predator, that would help immensely for the que times
Ugh i hate the idea of making this game more like f13 they need to move away from that idea and build a following for both sides.

i know what you mean but thats the only solution to making faster queues, everybody wants to be predator so the queues are going to be longer if they keep this method imo. if theres a better method that im not aware of then it will be welcomed
If they had launched game with bots there wouldnt be the que times as soon as the spot spam an retarted knife happy circles started predator mains mostly would be playing bot mode on the most challenging difficulty.
And the wait times would be drastically improved
I firmly don’t believe it’s a numbers problem. Never had a problem with long queues in Evolve, never a problem in Dead by Daylight. What makes Hunting Grounds so special?
I spent all afternoon trying to get Predator games and only managed 2. The rest fit the following:
- Says placing or connecting and then bails.
- I’m in the lobby but it only has 3 fireteam members. The 4th is never filled.
I’m starting to find things to do while waiting for a game. Like wtf I haven’t had to do that since dial-up!
yeah bots would be nice. also maybe challenges too

I agree with you bro…I’m on PS4 and before the patch I would have to wait like 5 mins tops to play as Pred and the FT even less time. Now after the most recent patch it’s sooooo shitty!! I barely can play Pred and there’s even an issue with the FT matchmaking. I either get empty lobbies or half lobbies then ppl quit cuz the get tired of waiting. Can’t even get a room for the fireteam…the FIRETEAM lol The matchmaking and queue time is on there end not ours. This is just like the free trail weekend all over again.
Agreed. A few times I’ve actually had no predator and a couple “placing” bails that lead to a 5+ minute wait for a fireteam game. These problems exist for both queues its just so much more noticeable for predator.

Its not that. The 7 minute instead of 30 seconds queue is a result of chosing predator. The connection timeouts are a bug. Now you have to go through 2-3 itterations of queueing. If it would be 1 it would be fine
