All the Predators are running safe now that Babas is currently not able to enter the game. Those Playstation Preds are multiplying like rabbits and the queue time as Pred is sky-high.

Doom you need to focus on getting him back into the game, he’s like pest control against casual PS Preds.

I think it’s something to do with your regional server that you’re supposed to connect to when you attempt to log in.

I can log in fine, but I’m not in the same country like other users that can’t log in.

I have a brother who plays on the same network that can connect fine, doesn’t have any issues. Really seems like its something on their server side of things, as I don’t have this issue on any other games. There is some sort of disconnect between the communication of their servers and our clients.

List of other things I’ve tried: Uninstalling and reinstalling (predator hunting grounds, epic games launcher, and easy anti cheat), accepted all pending Eula’s on my epic games account, restarted pc on multiple occasions, turned off all anti viruses, tried clicking retry online for half an hour, checked windows for any updates, tried disconnecting and reconnecting my internet, and I even checked my pc’s time, date and language to see if there was an issue there but it matches up perfectly with my brothers.

We are still working on this issue but looks like they cause was Amazon reissuing a SSL certificate which started on 10/27 and seems to be some machines are not trusting the new SSL certificate. Normally this would pull in a windows update but not sure of the specifics of why. We are looking into this to see how we can have this change rolled back.
I will let you know once I have another update.

Amazon reissue certificates every 3 months.

Certificates contain link to CRL (Certificate Revocation List) and it must be accessible too. I think it isn’t issue with the certificate… just to be sure, those who can’t logon, try to open following URLs:

My wild guess is obsolete TLS version. Amazon support only 1.2 and 1.3.

Anyone who can’t login, are you experienced enough to download and run Wireshark to capture communication?

  1. Download Wireshark from https://www.wireshark.org/ and install it.
  2. Start Wireshark, fill port 443 into filter (1) select any network interface (2) and hit fin icon (3) to start capture.
  3. Start game and wait till you get login failure message.
  4. Stop the capture in Wireshark (red square next to fin icon).

  1. Into a display filter line enter tls.alert_message and hit ENTER.

All captured packets should disappear (that happens for me, I can login without problems). If there is TLS version mismatch it will display some lines, like in this example:

I think fair is definitely onto the issue here
I’ve tested thoroughly on my system and it never calls for the 1.3 TSL certificate only 1.2

However on my brothers system (curlyfryjoe) it calls for the 1.3 certificate and fails everytime with the above fatal error.

I am able to connect normally and he isn’t
Both using identical network setups from the same router (ethernet connection)
