Can't take trophy or eat boar?

Played a few games now and it’s not every single game but in these particular games I can’t seem to eat boars or take trophy’s? the option to press the key to do it doesn’t seem to pop up and even standing over the body and pressing or holding it doesn’t seem to do anything?

Shoot 1 Time withe your plasma canaon and you can do it

I just tried to eat a pig and it said that I went back up to full health but as soon as I attacked again I went into second wind from one knife attack,

Then when I healed from second wind I was instantly back at full health
