So why in the world are we inundated with the casting choices of said games/tv shows? Doesn’t it feel like a complacency when dealing with tough choices in a highly political /woke world and even the casting choices are highly competitive to which if we even saw the competition held on a stage we would get back lash and lots of indecision. It becomes a political foot ball to make decisions on who scores the main role.
Lets take these 2 instance all those Marvel MCU roles:
Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones - pretty much a beautiful model in the role of a not so interesting character.
Spartacus guy as Wolverine - someone who is hard pressed for action, but Wolverine is not really the best choice for him. But then who is as Wolverine?
The stakes are high, the pruning in their marketing is clean, don’t expect alot from them but expect alot from their editing department.
Both are natural stars, but its the best we can get.
Natural stars are hard to come by considering the poltiical climate of white america/europe in a real hard pressed climate where middle-east people aren’t really clear on what is a ‘star’ role and since the market has opened up to extremist criticism from these parts of the world, you’re left with a lot of room in the world stage but in the heat of the struggle, you get people who might not GET people.
Truth be told, the back log of this shit is going to get even more complicated and even more boring or eccentric.
I mean when dealing with headlining tv shows or supporting casts, its more like they are trying to merge family friendly centric ideas and having them jive well.
I get it and I respect that. But I think when there needs to be speculation, it appears nowhere to be found!
Lots of people DO NOT WANT TO criticize or be speculative.
The majority wants it to be the best and somehow wants everyone to agree with them of it. Its sad when a streamer on youtube hugs the cringy positivity angle and expects everyone to agree with them. I think there should be more speculation. MORE MORE MORE SPECULATION. Criticize or even be fucking disappointed. BE DISSAPPOINTED! How else are you going to get a better product?
