Change of pace would balance the game

I really like Predator: Hunting Grounds. The base game design is solid and works fine. There sre some tech problmes, but most balance problems would be solved simply by slowing down the pace from run & gun to slighly more tactical approach.

Main problem is Fire Teams speed: they can pretty much run through the missions. If Predator is forced to heal, Fire Team gets far ahead. And most Pred weapons, like Disc, really cant hit superfast, jumping FT soldiers.

Main focus is to slow down Fire Team speed, so Predator gets more ambush chances and Fire Team must play more like Rainbow Six, not like Counter-Strike.

  1. Reduce Fire Team running speed and stamina to human levels.
  2. Raise the damage that AI soldiers do to Fire Team, to al level where AI is threat, not only targets.
  3. When Fire Teamster jumps from too high, either (s)he takes more damage and/or limps for a while. Thus idiot cliff jumpers would become Predator trophies.

Also, FT has way too many ways to cheat death, so:

  1. Rising downed FT must require a syringe or one charge from Med Pack.

And

  1. When Predator self-destructs, survivors should be able to try to finish the mission.

Currently, if Fire Team plays even semi-intelligently, Predator must be really good to win.
