Changes Illfonic

Before I have read that for illfonic, to implement things that the community asks for, said community should be in agreement for the most part
Whether this is true or not, I don’t care.
But I think it would be nice if Illfonic did polls or questionnaires in forums and social networks showing brainstorming within their limits to ask the gaming community what they would like to see within PHG.

We know that there is a roadmap from which you cannot deviate much.
But when I think this would be important
Since this way illfonic would be more involved with its community and they could give a better opportunity to improve this game as best as possible.

I will always say it. This game has a lot of potential that is not being exploited.

There have been polls previously.
Reportedly you have recieved wrist launcher and clash.

Who’s talkin bout KoH?

People have had polls l, posts after posts, BEGGING since the beginning of the game for a multi-predator and extended fireteam mode like 2v8 or 3v12.

When they decided to add clash instead, some player(s) designed a private mode around it where both teams predators team up against the remaining six fireteam, making it a 2v6 mode. Everyone praised it, Illfonic devs even streamed themselves doing it.

Then said it wouldn’t work out…

They know what we want, people are very very clear about what they want down to more solid color shaders. Illfonics gonna do what they’re gonna do. Our input is mostly restricted to bug reports and minor balancing changes. I know they say pred class specializations came from community input but that’s hard to believe considering you’d have to accept they intended to give fireteam more advantages than the title character, but also care about balance.

It’s a very sketchy relationship to have with your consumer base.

I recall there was some comment made on the official twitter saying that modes with extra predators are unbalanced so they weren’t doing it and I believe that’s the pinnacle of communication and honesty i’ve seen from this team.

Since then they have sweeped it under the rug unless there was some followup to that comment

There seems to be more money in leading people on.

Yeah, community feedback. Theyre listening right? They’re giving us what we want, right? Remember when everyone was saying ‘yknow what would make this game better? Aimbots’…

The game is unbalanced already with fireteam being undoubtedly stronger than the predator. Hence players again, begging, for multi pred mode since at least a month into the game.

A lot of us here can take down a pred 1v1. Theyre catering to the lowest possible skill level while those of us who have been playing and supporting the dlc the whole time get ignored and used as unpayed bug reporters.

What they need to do to earn back some respect is doing what players want. There’s absolutely no harm in throwing some different modes out there like a predator death match or what players have been referring to as gauntlet (multi preds), and just letting players have fun playing the game. Going on 2 years and they’ve only added clash.

More content is not gonna make anyone unhappy. They need to just add it in and let it happen. They literally have nothing to fear from people saying it’s unbalanced, players will adapt or not play, like how no one plays clash.

I totally agree with you…
As I said, if they put more modes, this game would live much longer, enough to generate income so high as to continue improving this game to maximum power.
2 game modes are useless in more than 1 year that we have been.
I see the maps well but there are many things missing too many things … and I am a veteran player in PHG
And I only play hunting because I only like to play with Yuatja.
To play as a human I already have other games …

I hope that the new October update will bring us something great, because every time I find it more difficult to keep hope …
And it would be a shame to let this game die when it comes from a franchise that generates millions of dollars just in content from comics, movies, statues, figures etc …

Its fine if FT gets it.

Almost everything FT gets is viable.
See: Pred gets wrist launcher and warclub/disc reskins with $5 for 2pt stat adjustments.

Same with pred specs just putting the balance at a slightly worse launch state (but with disc instead of combi because fuck you.)
