I suggest sometimes to watch those “elite” players stream. You will figure out things you don’t even think about. For example today on stream with GivaHost, Scarface_1983, Vargaresa, Macelaru RU one of them (you know who) complained that since he switched from lowest graphics details he can’t see traps anymore. Yet they claim there is no advantage in low graphics details… what a mouth full of shit they have. Unfortunately another one of them has to use the lowest details so his game is bright like spring, so don’t worry, they will see your traps anyway.

traps are clearly visible for a second and then turn invisible on all graphics settings. They used to be worse where you could literally see a warp arc around them no matter what. Even so, they are loud as fuck. Only an idiot would step on one. That’s why most people just throw them at you because otherwise, they are useless.
Does graphic setting provide a visual advantage? Yes, in some areas of Derailed having view distance set to low will not draw the foliage quick enough and you could see the pred walking around the bushes (eventually it will draw it). Does it provide a gameplay advantage? Yes, it provides consistent 60+ FPS on a poorly optimized first person shooter, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. This game, given its outdated visuals, should run at 144 fps on 1080P MINIMUM. Will it allow you to shoot the pred at ridiculous distances? No. It is common knowledge now that leaves, bushes and branches block bullets in this stupid game… do you even play FT at all or are you unaware of these things?
