So im getting 60 to 80 plus fps with rtx 3080 on cinematic. Ram was set to 2400 for some reason. Side of the stick says 3200. All previous test were from slow ram speeds til now.
Ill post vids later.

Oh yes man, RAM comes by default at low speed. You have to enable the XMP in your bios to get the advertised speed.
What Scar said.
Mine was running at 2400 when I booted the PC, went into BIOS and changed it to 3600 MHz.
2 16 BALLISTIX 3200
so DId it make any visible difference in performance by setting all RAM to 3200mhz?
Does it feel more stable?
I use DDR3 @ 2400 MHz LOL
Honestly, RAM speed doesn’t have a huge impact. Maybe 1 or 2 more fps. Because as RAM speed goes up, latency goes up, and they basically cancel each other. You want the fastest RAM with the lowest latency.
Overclocking VRAM (the RAM on your GPU) on the other hand can have a huge impact. I get about 15 FPS increase by just overclocking VRAM
The sweet spot is 3000mhz CAS 15 if you dont want to spend too much money. 2400mhz is too slow even at low latency of 14.
No doubt. The ram was not the only thing i changed.
this vid boosted my fps in cyber punk and PHG by 20 percent and some
