Everyone talks about perks. But no one asks about class attributes. I’m trying to figure out details about the Mud Cover Duration attribute. Does it work exactly like Pig in Shit? Or is it like half the perk were it extends the duration of the effect? Also, how long does it last? Is it an extra 15 sec. like the perk? I’ve also read that it does nothing for duration at all. But it shortens the time it takes to put on mud? Is this true? I swear. This game is so vague. Hopefully they’ll fix it in the future. Thanks all, and looking forward to your help.

Lol seriously how hard would it have been to atleast put damage numbers next to the guns instead of random bars that aren’t accurate to anything at all.

Yeah some information on what some perks give would be helpful and the difference of some classes for example you got Dutch with 160 hp take the health increase perk it gives him only 15 hp extra things like that be worth to know because you could have a better perk.
because console gaming, lot of text on screen looking weird, you need big buttons and big letters, having a description of hundreds of parameters is an attribute of pc games mostly as i noticed or you should transform it in RPG-style stats
But fireteam gets an actual number value for hp, so why not put that in the menu and number values on all the weapons? And give pred a number value in hp because you know it has one.
And with perks we couldn’t get the amount of damage reduction or amount of time extended?
Just seems lazy or they got tired of dealing with the UI.
i assume the reason is RP. Numbers, stats, buffs, debuffs all this are ruining immersion, turning the game into a grinding numbers and stats
But that’s every game ever created though. All people will do is complain they have to do the work. They will find out eventually anyways. And they will just wind up thinking the devs are lazy. And not care about that philosophy about it.
Wow. I can’t believe no one knows the details of these attributes. I’m a PC player. And I don’t know if this is a console thing. Or what. But I guess the guy in the comments above was right about console gamers not caring about min/maxing? Or stats. Or any details. Or anything. If that’s true. This is gonna suck.
I’m a PS4 player on this game, I want all those stats as well. But as far as your question. I have no idea. I have Dutch, just never used him. I like the better gear numbers and perks I can use as assault…

WOW. Can’t believe you bought Arnold. And have resisted temptation to use him! I don’t see him as an assault clone thank god. At first I thought that. But after looking at him more closely. He is way different that assault. Back on topic. I hope we find out soon about all the attributes.
No, he’s more like a recon with better health. I just like the assault class and the gear loadout I use. I’m a Pred main, and yes the temptation is there when I play FT, but it’s a little wierd with everyone playing him and screaming get to the choppa.

It’s not console players it’s just some people don’t like to make educated decisions or thinking strategically. Some of us want stats and numbers for everything because it helps us be better.
Yeah. I’m coming from the PC gaming world. Where this is unheard of. I have to get used to this. lol
I’m an old gamer (38, lol) as well as a tabletop RPer. It’s not about PC or Console, it’s just alot of people really hate having to think and don’t like losing to people that actually do.
LOL. Yeah. Like, after playing this game. I’m just amazed at how little there is in the forums about statistics and data. After a month no less. Like, I’m just not used to it.
I’m sorry if I sound harsh but I have never understood how anybody could actually be AGAINST being given more information, more customizability options, or being given freedom of choice. It just… argh.
There are a few lists of stats/weapons damage, they are just buried way down in the forums
