100-125 meters like you have stated is too much. I will list reasons why and give pros and cons to both sides to be non biased.
First and the biggest con is this will allow players to sniper abuse the game. The distance you suggested is a little to much. Best example is Derailed building with the trains on the inside with the easy access roof. Every roof and basically line of sight is within that 125 meter range. This will take the Predators ability to counter the roof camp because its out of maximum potential damage range for any of the pred weapons.
Pc will be easily dodged, Bow is less likely to land shots at great distances , smart disc is rendered useless at that range. Combi throw you run the risk of losing the weapon. Hand held caster is useless at that range.
These cons outweigh the pros for the Pred at that range. The pred will not be able to counter said camp, the Pred will not be able to hide approach.
Now what others and Myself have suggested @Coffee2Go and others is 60-80 meters I would like middle ground at 70-75 but not about what I want but is balance.
This range of the Pred being visible while being cloaked will stop the foolish that is cloak atm and here is why I think in my non biased opinion why.
The preds weapons all of the are now in maximum potential range. But are still counter able.
Pc can be deadly at this range but is also dodge able and counter able.
Bow is deadly at this range but is counter able by a normal team. Ie randoms.
The smart disc is within its range but is highly counter able and very punishable at this range
Spear throw less likely to be lost.
The pred can hide approach at the right angle. The pred is more visible within this range while being cloaked so randoms will be able to counter the attacks if any.

If you get sniped at 100 meter it could be two options:
-fireteam player is very very good, more than you
-you have bad movements
If you like the current cloak then itās your opinion. I just put mine. Enjoy 30 min queue for Pred in a dead game because no one is motivated to play fireteam and all people want to play easy mode in Predator. We still win 100% of our games because of the damage and fast mission. And now as pred is even too boring in pubs because they dont see you and you can go to tree and spam caster with perk. No skill.
Iāve seen you as pred a few times. You didnāt need this cloak adjustment before, now Iām really scared of what you can do.

And if its actually 70-80 meters then you actually need to pay attention to the shimmer in the jungle and malfunctioning cloak that happens if predator is runningā¦
And i think both sides can benefit from it cause you can just hide in the building lmaoā¦ and incase he decides to rush you, you just melee him lmfaoā¦
Either way my concern about it being 100 meters is that pred will just be too obvious to see honestlyā¦

If you are sniped 100 meters away, it means that the cormorant in the hangar realized that his rifle is a hitscan, and he simply shoots at the glowing spot. Is this a skill?) Wow. Amazing. Nope is not fine. Cause the reason ft is still op is because of 3 things:
-reinforcements
-missions
-damage
Cloak wonāt change that , it will only make fireteam more boring to play because you cant interact with pred unless he goes for melee. Good luck with 12 mins queue as avarage.

If anything id say put cloak visibility from 50 to 70 meters. Anything higher would result back to the original cloak i feelā¦ not goin lie I do like tbe cloak where its at bc for 6 months it was absolutely shitā¦ at least letās us take advantage of it for a short time before you all cry, fuck lolā¦

I think pred should be visible from 70 meters.
Predator should have better hitbox when fireteam is giving him damage, i already made a topic about it.
There should be bullet drop in game for fireteam as well and not only PREDATOR.
Missions should actually last raw about 10 minutes or 15 minutes ideally, and they have to be interactive missions and not only u press one button and its done.

Thatās what Iām thinking. Thatās why the new cloak is almost perfect. You canāt be a lone wolf. The predator is stronger not because of more health or damage, but because it can get into and out of fighting range.
Maybe instead of nerfing cloak. They should increase the plasma caster energy consumption by 50%. Then youāll waste your cloaking if you spam plasma.
