Preds still melt. I don’t know about you but my style has reverted back to the way I played around release. Focus on the mission till the Predator makes it’s self known. Then just keep an eye/ear out, when he engages drop everything and nail him.
Don’t be in the open, take cover and use concealment at all times. Force him to come close and blast his ass

No. I’m a FT main, occasionally I’ll play as Predator. I’ve played less than 100 matches as Predator since launch. But I’ve easily played 1000+ matches as Fireteam.
With my regular squads @KameofWar @Drakos @Fire @GetToLaChappa @madmardigan @Forever_Mello @Widjumm @859captainkron and a few others (it didn’t matter which 4 of us teamed up) we had an almost perfect win streak, day after day, week after week to the point it got FUCKING BORING and predictable. Oh, a Zerker. Dead. Oh, a Samurai. Dead. Didn’t matter, you had to be on someone like Yuppers level to stand a chance against us, and it sucked after a while.
I dipped into public’s with randoms, and could still win more games than I ever lost. There wasn’t any challenge, and there certainly wasn’t any thrill.
Now, the fear and anxiety of being hunted is back. It feels like the first few days I played the game. It feels like an actual “Predator” game and not some Call Of Duty spin off starring Predator.
I’m happy seeing more Predators winning. I’m pleased that people can play this game and have fun again, especially those who want to try out Predator and get to grips with its extreme learning curve. They actually don’t get melted in 3mins unless they’re totally stupid, but they learn quick.
Time to adapt.

If the predator is bad and fighting in melee or really close combat that works, if he focuses in medium to long range and he is decent all you can do is focus on the mission, evade and run. It works but its really unfun to me. Like really, really unfun.
Problem with this is you’re probably going to get a bad que very soon as predator. Many randoms already went to clash (for obvious reasons) and the more the cloak makes people not able to shoot the predator the more will move over. Hell, I did. Perhaps I am wrong, perhaps not but killing the braindead AI and doing the braindead mission are very lame and boring, only engaging with the predator is fun in HUNT.
So you played in a 4 man preamde of good players and you’re amazed you need a really good pred to challenge you? I do think that was obvious.
This “fear” the predator again. What’s to fear? Just boring gameplay (to me).
Right but, and I’ve said this to you before. Most predators weren’t a challenge before. To win at pred last patch you either needed to face a squad of potatoes or play mistake free the entire match. Now it’s a challenge. It’s a little more forgiving if you miss a leap point and you’re not as worried about getting chased down everywhere you go trying to heal.
I want a challenge when I play on both sides of this game. Up until this patch the only challenge I had was staying alive as pred. Now I can really get into both fireteam and pred because it’s more exciting.

And that “fear” thing is part of the Predator experience, but I’m guessing you didn’t appreciate the movies much.
Now FT has to use tactics and strategies as well as the pred. Picking where to fight is CRUCIAL in this game now for both sides

PS4 ques are still really good. They fluctuate depending on time of day which I expect being in the UK, cam always tell when America is sleeping. But on the whole, nothing major has changed for the queue times and the alight uptick that there has been is probably because people are now feeling like they can give being Predator a chance.

No. If I wanted to play PC games, with PC players then I’d set up my PC for gaming. I bought my PS4 to play games, have fun and relax. Something you PC guys seem to struggle with. And from the shit I’ve seen from the likes of Dice and other YouTubers, you’re playing a different game anyway and not worth my time. If PC queue times suck, there’s a good reason for it.

On ps4 the player base is much much bigger so you have more chance to finds kids and noobs. Pc is very small so you might find people that will give at least a challenge.
