Found this article and thought id post it.
It sounds only like someone namely the lead programmer from the old AVP jaguar doom mod game is got something cooking. Although it does sound like a faux Alien type rip off, the article just makes it sounds more important than it should be. Xeno is just referencing anything “Alien” and the planet XL-243 is an obvious riff on LV planets. I doubt the game will be nothing more than a stormship troopers, top-down, with open world elements. Nothing unusual.
The title card though is downright clickbait.
The best comparison would be Team 17’s Alien Breed series, which had space marines battling aliens that looked very much like xenomorphs, but did not use the Aliens license.
