Coffee's Hunting Grounds Re-Design #1

Game Mechanics:

  • RNG needs to be added to the entire game where all objectives are randomized with each match you play (you should not be able to speedrun trough any objectives PERIOD.

  • Matches need to be longer up to 30 minutes (If the two people are alive at least 2 alive people and they don’t do any objectives or continue to finish their objectives the game will give a 1-2 minute timer for them to move and stop stalling and trolling or else they will lose the match.).

  • Add bullet drop & bullet projection (where the bullet velocity decreases the damage it does if fired to a distant target) (affects predator and fireteam both).

  • Day / Night Cycle needs to be added.

  • Dynamic Weather needs to be added.

  • Dynamic Objectives need to be added where they can change midway trough the match depending how players do the objective well or they mess it up.

  • Graphical settings improvements & Optimizations for both platforms.

  • Add realistic dynamic armor damage both FIRETEAM & PREDATOR , where if u break predators armor u deal way more damage than usual to make up for one shot plasma .

Fireteam:

  • Dynamic stamina needs to be added where heavier weapons cause more stamina depletion and the longer u keep sprinting the faster the stamina is being used etc etc.

  • Using the knife makes the stamina deplete too.

  • Sneak mechanic needs to be added where hiding in bushes and crouching does not alert them.

  • Stealth kills for fireteam need to exist where you slit the throat with knife, or stab them in the heart.

  • You can reinforce 2 times but you get 50% with the shit u landed in with the first place.

PREDATOR:

  • Better tree climbing needs to be added.
  • Skinning dead bodies needs to be added.
  • Climbing smaller walls / buildings needs to be added.
  • Cloak Textures need to look much much more better
  • Sneak mechanic needs to be added where you wont be noticed at all by AI if you are crouching behind them either cloaked or not cloaked… same goes if you alert them and go cloak mode and stand still they will pass you and not see you.
  • More traps need to be added like (emp mines, whips that can make you hang on tree’s).
  • Reduce pig healing from like 80% healing to like 50% & make it spawn less but randomly without it being locked towards fireteam and can be abused by fireteam. Basically RNG
  • Remove the target isolation to spot instantly where the fireteam is, rather make it show the direction where they are moving and let the preds see the footsteps and how fresh they are and it acts like pulses and you can use it either 2 or 3 times and it has medium cooldown.
  • Make predator Cloak realistic to the point where its like 99.9% invisible from distance and 95% invisible from up close when normally walking, and 80% invisible when running.
  • Bring back One shot plasma (with a twist where it overloads you + uses entire energy).
  • Predator needs to have multiple perks in one perk to make up for fireteam stacking upto 12 perks. (So for example they can rename modified reserve to resemble like faster energy regen + more energy + better energy consumption

AI:

  • AI needs to not have wall hacks and it loses the sight if you hide in bushes or behind walls…
  • AI needs to patrol the area so it gives more of immersive hunting / survival experience.
  • Reinforcements need to have one one boss/captain leading the reinforcement
  • Patrols need to have one boss/captain leading the patrol

Where’s the no giant ass tree hit box lol. Like that’s the only reason why I hardly use my Recon set up anymore. I do like most of the ideas but some of they are a bit meh.

how would you know if someone is doing nothing if they don’t fire there gun if they don’t move outside of X Meters? this would be impossible to keep track of in a fair manner

also all the AI related stuff requires them to have an AI programmer so no dice (at least not yet)

this is bad IT SHOULD NEVER BE RNG spawns FT don’t have RNG spawns neither should the predator it was RNG on game launch and i recall after lik 80 matches i only saw 6 pigs ever

they should be X number GUARENTEED after 3minutues all pigs spawn there are X number and those are the only pigs on the map until the end of the game

i mean i would also like to remove target iso but make the sound bar on the side of the screen an accurate way to find the FT based on the waves effectivly making it a cone vision that at about 60m you have to be directly looking at the FT member to find them and of course it’s sound based so the more noise in the direction of the FT the more sporadic the movement of the waves

this is just lol at best it should be like 95%-100 at distance greater than 60m 75% up close when moving slowly
and then sprinting should be like 30% normal walk speed 50% crouch and crouch slow moving should be somewhere between 50 and 80% then of course perfect still is 100% if no movement for 2s

only if the charge time is like 5 seconds

Instead give the pred a notification as to what their general location is, or keep sending a.i.
At them.

Like every 2 minutes a patrol squad of 10 a.i.

The game would know cause technically its all “scripted” and its built in game engine like binary 10101 thingies… im not a dev but i know for sure that it was a thing in evolve where if they dont do any progress the match just ends…

So if fireteam just like does not do anything and try to troll and get predator to leave n shit… the match will end it will show in top right corner 2 min for them to continue and finish the mission lol…

uhh i think you misunderstood this… lmfao the pigs should spawn like max 3 in a group and spawn randomly on the map… neither close to predator or fireteam… maybe closer to predator than fireteam… but it should avoid spawning close if their like fighting.

and technically asymmetrical means = its environment… pigs are environmental based not like driven by anything scripted wise really… and i agree they should pre spawn around the map randomly… in groups of 3 and scattered… and spawn all the way up to idk pre determined number to resemble as much as heals as fireteam has…

Yes the sound bar i expected it to work and like let us hear heartbeats, gun shots the closer u are the more it spikes up… etc…

Basically the little mini map preds have… should turn to 3D once we scan it will show like where the prey footprints, shooting has happened… same with like increased temperature etc etc…

This is where i have to disagree, the predator cloak should be like 100% at the greater distance, and it should shimmer once preds jumps…

like around 30 meters it should be like 95%

Sprinting up close should be 80% ideally, but i guess ill go as low as 75% lol… the normal walk should be 90%… crouch should be 95% walking…

Hide and seek is good… i love hide and seek but only if like as u said ur self they would like have increased temperature and the mud wont like properly work, we will be able to locate them no matter of mud due to whole adrenalin and heavy breathing of being alone and last man standing etc…

Sending ai would be honestly annoying lmfao… i like the predator noticing the peeps camping a bit better lol…

Yeah i guess like either 10 ai or less… but it must have like a captain on them, and if u dont kill captain it will alert another patrol and yeah u can guess what happens then lmao…

Okay… this might be a shot in blank but realistically… dynamical armor should be a thing lmao… same as bio helmet has it… but the armor should be like much much muuuch better and stronger than fireteams… cause its 4 v 1 so technically pred should have 4x times more stronger armor on the body compared to fireteam… so each fireteam would lose like their “celvar” i guess… they can make it so its suttle as losing bio helmet… and showing like damage without numbers…

Fireteam being able to reinforce two times would make sense… but they would keep getting weaker… like spawn without armor n shit… less ammo… health and not being able to replenish any health cause it would be capped due to injuries…

Sometimes i feel fking bored if they cant reinforce lol…

idk what sneak bush is btw… but im guessing its a troll where u camp and u cant be noticed… so it gets fixed by the idea for fixing the whole auto timer lol or like predator being able to notice the camping people who are not doing their objectives… so like the predator gets like alert for increased temperature reading in that area… or smth…

Well this was a shot in blank too lmfao… better pig spawning yes… and if the pig spawning gets to the point where its actually working … it would make sense to like decrease healing lol… if they spawn more and randomly not connected to pred or fireteam… it should heal 50%… if it stays the same 80% is fine…

I think @KameofWar idea for the sound detector is the best bet.

Also ft are annoying, they should totally get a.i.
Coming after them every 2-3 minutes they dont move cause they’re camping.

It would technically be like constant detection radar, that collects all the current info and u can keep adding info by using the target isolation pulses… like u get atleast 3 of them and they have cooldown… to like scan for like temperature readings of entire area, gun shots, fresh footprints etc…

OK i always hate AI in every game similar like this… they are just too dumb and they have wall hacks… i dont mind aim bot… but i hate wall hacks… and being able to be spotted in bushes when mudded and making no noise… same with me being a predator and cloaked… and standing in one place… and them being like OH i see u i have cyborg eyes wooo…

I really would like for them to make use of the sound bar thingy… its like classic thing that everyone loves… where during the vision and mimicry… the sound bar moves and same with gun shots and speaking …

So i think the mini map should resemble this when using the target isolation lol…

Just need different versions of pc blast.

An option for one that has a huge radius that can one shot if your caught within 5 meters, with 10 meters being the max range, but that overloads you.

And then one focused on non charged shots,
And then the final one to be as it is.
